    If the IBF hadn't stripped Clottey, that would most likely be on the line aswell.

    The belts don't really mean much, but they add a bit of glamour.

    I think it's because the WBC will be giving the winner that Diamond belt too, so I guess this counts as a unifacation match then?

    Cotto won a vacant belt two fights ago and has had only one defense. This is a bunch of horse****. What are they trying to do? Upstage the WBC's diamond belt?

    The fighters need to man up and stop paying the sanction bodies for these ridiculous trinkets.

    How can they unify if the WBC diamond belt isn't even a real title? Berto is the WBC champ at 147.

    I heard the fight is the WBC "Ultra-Mega-PinoRico Belt"

    I havent heard of it before, but apparently its made with platinum and rubies and silver coated grains of rice.

    Cotto's wbo belt is worthless.Hype says a win for Manny makes him a 7 weight champ but everyone knows Mosely's the Welterweight champion.Obviously thats academic-it's biggest fight of the year.
