Any fight would be considered history, but there would be more significance in a Pac/Floyd that a Cotto/Floyd. It's what most fans want to see. The fact that Pacquiao's journey is like a fantasy came true. Cotto had most his fights in Welter and JR Welter so fans view it a s a normal fight considering they're both legit welters.

No discredit to any of these fighters, they're all great, just what is most appealing and what makes a more interesting story.

I'll agree in part. I know I'm going to get some flack for this but a Pac-PBF fight would be an easy UD for the bigger, faster and stronger PBF. Need a reference ? (See PBF-JMM) Now with Cotto, if he stays with the SAME TRAINER, an easy UD for FLOYD as well. But if Cotto decides to go with a solid trainer, Nazeem richardson comes to mind, PBF will be in for the fight of his career.

I don't like Floyd and his antics but as a pure boxer you have to respect him.

The Pac/Mayweather fight will be the biggest fight in the last 10 maybe 20 years. But it will not be as action packed as Pac/Cotto.

    Floyd wins that easy.

I think Mayweather would annihilate Cotto so a Pacquiao win is the best thing overall, but I agree - it would be nice to see Cotto put in a big performance.

I'm with you man. I hope Cotto wins and not because im hating on Pac, but because i just think Cotto poses a bigger challenge to Floyd. Pac should stay in his weight class and dominate it. Floyd should fight elite welters.

There is no proof that Margarito "cheated" against Cotto. People act like this **** is fact. It's not.

Cotto lost, pure and simple. And he's gonna lose again on Saturday.

Zak there is more evidence to suggest he did than there is to prove he didnt, he got caught against an old mosley why wouldnt he for the biggest fight in his career? especially with that kind of rivalry?

    Is this a joke.
If he couldn't stop an aging, bloated, stiff legged Marquez who was out of his realm (and simply out of it at any weight above 140) then I highly doubt he would be stopping either Cotto or Pacquiao. Mayweather simply isnt good enough these days offensively to stop an elite fighter. These days he pot shots, doesnt throw combinations, has brittle hands, and concentrates more on making guys miss than making guys pay when they miss.

I'm rooting for Pacquiao. I think he is doing things for the sport that come along once in a blue moon. A Pacquiao win would be better for boxing, in my opinion.

It seems Pac's team has really been studying Cotto. A lot of fighters already do this but I think its really been emphasized by the Pac camp. I can see Pac being ready for whatever Cotto brings on sat night.

    Pac by KO.

To me that video you can see Mannys mind is on the fight, but I also sense a bit of un ease in that vid as well, Manny does look a bit worried to me..

Not to mention, if Floyd fought Cotto, they wouldnt have to worry about catch weights and we wouldnt have to hear Roachs bull**** mouth going
