Firstly, there is a problem with a wording of the title/poll

That aside, people should understand that winning/losing on cuts is legitimate.TKO victory for Lewis

Also,Vitali was not owed a rematch.People on these boards act as though that is the case,to this day even

Lastly,Vitali won the event. That renders this thread irrelevant

Vitali may have been up a round or two, but the momentum at the time of stoppage was in Lewis's favor, I cant beleive the Klitschko fans boys are still crying about this loss, and you all have the nerve to talk **** about Arreola, you guys have been crying for how many years now?

    1) WBA Champ
    2) What does that have to do with LL vs Vit?

In the first few rounds Lewis looked ****ed. Vitali was landing some big shots & he did look as if he could have got the stoppage, Vitali was winning the fight don't forget. This is not delusional, it is a valid opinion.

So here's what really happened - an all time top 10 Hw came in overweight, trying to find out what he had left against a live underdog he didn't rate. He started slowly, got outboxed, hurt and looked old - he started to rally, land, hurt and damaged Vit till he couldn't continue. It wasn't an unfair stoppage - it was a mercy stoppage. Who would have gone on to win? INVALID Lewis DID win. Nothing else would have happened because nothing else did happen.

I was curious as to how BeestonBrawler views Haye in comparison to Vitali after reading his ridiculous comment.

Patrick no issue that Vit won the first few rounds - but you're confusing the fact that you were hoping for the stoppage with the fact that it was on verge of happening. It wasn't - LL was stunned but never ever in danger of stoppage.

I've said this many times - judge Vit on Vit not LL, he lost that's it.

Won't try to answer for Beeston but I don't think top 20'ish is an insult to Vit, quite the opposite.

I wasn't hoping for anything! Don't assume to know what I was hoping for. You can see the fight from whatever angle suits your agenda but what I saw was a very tired & overweight Lewis who was taking big shots in the early rounds & was lucky to see them out.

Considering Klitschko spent most of round 6 out on his feet and took about 20 seconds to get back to his corner I'd say no.

    *raises hand*

I think he could have beat him had they fought a couple years earlier too.
