I pretty much feel the same way, I think he's got bags of potential and he's good to watch but anybody who poo poos a colleague's achievements to make himself look good is a complete wanker. Anybody who calls himself "chunky" too, what the **** is that all about?
TBH I ignore personalities in boxing, I think it's the only fair way. If an arsehole's got talent he's still an arsehole but we don't have to go to the pub with him do we?

Haye had a tricky enough time as it was, with you spotting an additional 3 inches or so and about 50 pound more it's pretty nutty to think you could stroll along and beat Valuev too.

I thought Chunky was living by the mantra that he was going to do his talking in the ring. After people realised what an utter knobface he was.

Its better for people to think you are a **** than for you to open your mouth and prove it.

 

Just what British boxing doesn't need.

Haye brings a buzz back to the sport (for the good of all British fighters) and Degale goes and attempts to undermine his acheivments like a spoilt little school kid who has just been dropped from the school team.

Whether this is to do with his relationship with Haye or if he is just trying to score points with his boss he'll soon learn that he won't win a poularity contest with Haye and brining up this kind of **** is only going to damage his own chances of success.

Grow up chunky and get behind British boxing. You don't like what Haye said about you but why not try and be the bigger man?

He did say it was good for British Boxing to be fair, hes tryin to make a name for himself. He repped us all and won gold in the olympics so i think its harsh callin him a ****.
