nice article. It will be hard for anyone to prove anything from the pictures after the Cotto fight unless there were specific marks on them which could identify them as the inserts found prior to the Mosley fight. The assumption is it might have been those inserts, but how will anyone ever know if they are the same inserts without something concrete? They said the inserts found before the Mosley fight were used, so maybe there would be some identifying marks on the Cotto picture since if they were used they would have probably been used for the Cotto fight. Interesting article.

Jail is full of guys that have done a lot less than Margacreato, yet this piece of garbage is still free around & with the prospect of returning to make Millions $$$ more in the sport.... that will probably be the day I turn to watch MMA.

I believe the ass whooping he received at the hands of Mosley is good enough of a punishment...I think he should be given one more chance (to get his ass beat again) but Capetillo is the one that should be banned for life, and even some sort of jail sentencing.

Very nice article, says quite a lot. I was already kind of convinced Margarito loaded his gloves against Cotto but now I see no other scenario.

Margarito will not be banned. Tyson should have been banned when he bit Evander's ear yet he wasn't. Takes alot for a fighter to be banned for life.

It's pathetic that Cotto's team won't let it go. Their guy got his ass kicked, just move on. The CSAC is dsgraceful. They are well known for their incompetance and lack of due dilligence. Now they have a representative trying to use a photo that shows red die(probably from his gloves) on Margo's wraps to prove that Margo cheated in other fights. It's a desparate attempt on their part to prove that they aren't incompetant, and that Margo's team hid it so well, that they were able to pull off the scam in multiple fights.

It's a farce. The NSAC actually has competant officials who excercise due dillegence for these fights. It took Richardson one quick look to discover the ruse. This lets me know that the CSAC didn't even bother checking the wraps. The NSAC has a history of having proper procedures in place to ensure such attempts at cheating aren't succesful. I'm throughly dissapointed in the CSAC as well as team Cotto. Neither one of them did their job correctly and they are trying to pass the buck to cover up for their failures. It's garbage, and I'm not buying it.

 

I agree capetillo should be the one facing the harsh punishment not margo.....there is still not infinite proof that tony used plaster in any of his previous matches......When I watched the doc. "assualt in the ring", it made me have more sympathy for margarito....he deserves a second chance IMO
