    After the attention Haye got last week, have you heard anyone talking about probably the biggest fight of the year?

    I was trying to move on to the subject with most people that started banging on about Haye/Valuev this week but a lot of them just looked at me funny and said something like "is that the guy that beat Ricky Hatton?"

    No, and I'm glad...

    I don't mind the casual and non-boxing fans bothering me once or twice a year but I like the fact that most of the time its only boxing fans that talk to me about boxing.

    Agree with this.

    Haven't heard a pip about the Cotto fight,people still want to disect the great WBA battle of 'David Vs Goliath'. Its getting really f**king annoying.

    Tomorrow the missus is staying at her mum's house :good I'm going to get a few beers in, buy a new blank video (so I have the fight for my collection), sit back and crawl into bed around 5:30 am.

    I have talked to ONE person about this fight (an actual boxing fan).

    Irish people don't know who Manny Pacquiao or Miguel Cotto are. There is only talk about boxing when there are big fights involving Irish or British fighters. Sky Sports covered Haye/Valuev in such great detail that it got more attention here than Pacquiao/Cotto.

    Im in Ireland too and there is **** all mention of it anywhere. Ive said it to a few people at work and a few mates but thats it. And where im from if you mention Cotto they will look at you as if you have 2 heads.

    You hear a good bit of discussion when Bernard Dunne fights but never for the massive fights like the one this weekend.
