Ok, well this is obviously a very ignorant post. Bone Crusher Smith, Mitch Green among others made it the distance with Tyson, Douglas beat his ass. But Vitali would get mutilated??? Look there is definitely a good chance Tyson would destroy him, but there is also a chance Vitali would beat him.

 

It became a tradition to see on ESB every week Hayeparade. Keep it on brits.

look u cant compare head to head either becoz the human race in general has got alot bigger therfore the heavyweights have got a lot bigger

 

Part of the problem for both the brothers in their ATG ranking is that they haven't fought the only other good HW at the time...eachother.

Ali's era was littered with top HW's but if he'd have never fought Frazier his legendary status would be different.

It's not their fault, but for the last 3/4 years, the only top HW fight worth taking is Wlad Vs Vitali, and it's not happened.

No really, I'm not hard to debate as long as you use examples & facts to back up your positions.

 

I wouldn't give a prime Tyson as much credit as some of these guys do. I was watching many of Tyson's greatest hits live, when they happened & I don't rate fighters like Peter McNeely or Steve Zouski, etc. that highly. Yeah Mike beat them down quickly but so what? What these Tyson fans are doing is comparing Vitali to guys that Tyson beat such as those two and that's ridiculous.

 

I know, like as if he has all those times that Vitali was KO'd to compare it to. :rofl

 

I challenge you to name 20 past Heavyweights that you're positive would beat either Klitschko. Please feel free to use examples of these 20 fighters beating, mutilating, or destroying similar style fighters.

In fairness, that quote came from one of Britain's much maligned tabloids - The Sun - after they took a seemingly benign Schaefer quote and sensationalised it beyond it's original context. Schaefer was originally on about Haye's ability to sell a fight using his charismatic personality ala Ali. I do, however, accept that any comparison with Ali is hugely irrational and over-the-top, though.

After they list Ali, Louis, Lewis, Forman, Holmes, Marciano, Liston, etc. they realize that they're left with Patterson, Schmeling, etc. In other words they have to admit they're wrong.:thumbsup
