The momentum of the fight was shifting at the time of stoppage. Yes Vitali could have won but i think Lewis would have got the KO in a round or two

It was a great fight regardless.

Weights? He looked flabby, fat, which cannot be just put down to his age. Are you saying he trained just as long for this fight as any other?

    That's how I see it.

As I recall, Klitschko had mulitiple cuts around that left eye. Obviously it was a target Lewis simply couldn't miss.

In the rematch, a focused in shape Lewis dismantles the slow, clumsy, plodding Klitschko - EASILY...

People should just face reality, an old out of shape Lewis TKOd Vitali in round 6.
Just imagine what a prime Lennox would have done.

Why did he refuse to give Vitali a rematch?

Because he was afraid to lose

Lennox was a notoriously slow starter

Why did Lewis pass on a rematch?

The drubbing he had just given the older Klit?

If we go on who's been knocked clean the **** out (KO'd) and whose never been down once in their career, we can assume that the chances of Vitali losing that way would be slim to none and at the same time consider Vitali's KO percentage, well, let's just say that it wouldn't have looked all that great for a diminishing Lewis down the line.

I think if it continued Vitali would have knocked Lewis out.

He was ahead by two points on all three cards and it was the ring doctor and not the corner who stopped the fight.
