He should announce retirement after the win, wait it out for about a good year, this way if Floyd really wants the fight with him, Floyd will have to give up the bigger share to bring Manny out of retirement....:good

He is not going to win though~ just saying if he does, cus its not like he dont have a chance to win, he does he can crack, and I do expect if he does win that Roach probably plays the retirement card.:bbb

If he wins he should fight Mosley next and then retire.

Sounds like a plan...but floyd will play games and it will become boring and Pac-Man will just move on, he seems like that type of guy.

Floyd doesn't need Manny though and Manny doesn't need Floyd. It the best option by far for both guys, but there's others on the table, the winner of Berto/Mosley for one.

If Manny wins, I don't think they'll pull the retirement card, because Floyd won't be desperate to fight Manny if he's retired he'll look elsewhere, there's no way Manny is getting the bigger share anyway.

I think they'll just retiterate what Roach has been saying beforehand, that they don't need Floyd and that Manny has other options, which is true although none are quite like a prospective fight with Mayweather.

Floyd needs Manny, he has big money troubles.... He needs that kind of pay day and he wont get it with Berto or Mosley though Mosley brings in Money its not bringing in Pac kind of money, look at Floyds last two fights prior to retirement, he has gotten use to that kind of pay check and his life style has been lived as if Checks like that will be non stop...

He made 10 million plus PPV off one million buys again JMM. If you fight Floyd Mayweather, you are certain to make the most money you have ever made. Pacquiao has not made as much against the same opponents. Mayweather will make big money against lots of opponents. How does he need Pacquiao more than Paquiao needs him?

Manny and Cotto are fighting to see who can make a lot of money from fighting Mayweather and see who will lose to him next. Pacquiao is getting 7.5 mil guaranteed. You think Mayweather will get that? No, he'd make much more fighting Cotto, just like he has off he and Pacman's other common opponents.

You're idea is ignorant. Why would Mayweather take less than Pacquiao? That won't happen no matter what Pacquiao does.

For money, push to fight Floyd.

For glory, push to fight Shane (assuming Shane red headed stepchilds Berto).

Otherwise, farewell fight in Manila and start running for office.

Floyd isnt going to make Pacquiao kind of money fighting Mosley or Berto is he? No he is not so if he wants that kind of money he needs Manny do you understand that Nallege?

Who cares what he did with JMM, Manny if he wins which I dont think will happen but if he should one effective way to get the lions share is to retire and basicly make Floyd give it up or no fight....

Manny should he win which he wont, will clearly be in the drivers seat, he isnt begging and wont beg to fight Floyd he wont have to after this any question you have about Manny will be answered should he win.....

Cotto is winning anyways but still one way to get Floyd to come down off his high horse is play the same card Floyd played two years ago....

I don't see Manny having the kind of skillset that favors a layoff. His greatest asset is still his athleticism, and a year away from boxing could erode that significantly. Especially without the likelihood of a tune up fight in between.

So yeah, if all he cares about is cashing out instead of actually winning the fight, it's an ok idea.

Floyd needs Pacquiao (or any decent fight around 147) if he wants to be remembered as anything other than an epic underachiever and a deplorable coward by everyone other than his arse-kissing supporters.

Pacquiao is already great, rich and has a big life to lead back in his home country. Beating PBF would be the icing on the cake and shoot him up as an ATG, but it wouldn't be a disaster if it didn't happen.
