An old interview but still quite funny :lol:

Calzaghe dismantled Jeff Lacy to add the IBF belt to his WBO title, a fight Toney said Calzaghe was sure to lose.
"Toney fancied Lacy's chances so I would love to see how he would get on with me," said Calzaghe, 33.
"He should lose the flab and fight me. But I don't think anyone can drag him out of his training camp at McDonalds."

Calzaghe is bristling after Toney told BBC Sport that Lacy would "destroy" Calzaghe at the MEN Arena.

Toney also said: "Calzaghe never did anything. He beat Chris Eubank nine years ago, but what has he done since then? He's a joke."

Toney, 37, failed to win the WBC heavyweight crown on Saturday after a disappointing draw with Hasim Rahman.
He held the IBF middleweight and super middleweight title in the 1990s before moving up to win the cruiserweight crown.
However, a fight with Calzaghe is unlikely to happen as Toney scaled 236lb against Rahman and would have to lose almost 70lb to make the super middleweight limit.
"I would love to kick his behind now because I just missed out on doing it in the '90s when I was coming through," added Calzaghe.
Former four-weight world champion Roy Jones Jr, who beat Toney in 1994, has already said he would like to fight Calzaghe.

Joe clearly doesn't do his research. Toney trains at Burger King.

How convenient. Miss pretty much everything in the 90's and wait until Hopkins, RJJ and Toney reach retirement to run your mouth.

Joe is very of the win against lacy. i dunno if he is more proud beating lacy or the fact that he was an underdog in his hometown against a green fighter who was never any good.

He won his title in 1997, Toney was a Cruiserweight and Roy a Light heavyweight when he did :hi:

    Get your facts straight.
