Thats it three fights and whats disturbing is that you repeated 2 names and brought up a fighter that recently retired. Compare it to any era in boxing and it looks embarrassing. Boxing was once the number 1 sport in the world. Now its barely on the radar.
It's all bull**** and personal opinions and bias get in the way. I swear ever since the fight was announced, Cotto fans post **** about Pacquiao and make threads about how Cotto is gonna end his career, etc, etc. Harmless stuff not a big deal, **** talk is to be expected and I have nothing against the Cotto fans I am one myself and this will be the only fight apart from his fight vs Torres where I root against him. But again I haven't seen that from Manny fans nearly as much if at all. But you got people who still cry and act like it's the other way around.
Even back in the 80s, they weren't generating as much money as the super fights today do. Like I said, we could do better. We could get more coverage, and it's the promoters responsibility to improve matchmaking, but Boxing is fine. Pacquiao isn't going to get Boxing back where it was, he's only succeeding in bringing himself fans, and unfortunately, some of them found ESB.
