Its understandable that Roach protected Manny from a staredown today especially after Wednesday when Manny visibly cracked and looked away. ( Please now, no one called out to him ) Manny prides himself in having a " Bruce Lee " body, but that is the best he has going for him this far....Cotto is not intimidated by him nor his hype and Roach knows it and now Manny is sensing it from Roach. Bottom line.....Roach already has a white towell handy so he can save Manny from a vicious and damaging KO !!!
I agree with what you said, However the real reason that its over is cus Cotto came in healthy and Roach knows this, he wanted Cotto to come in heavy so he would burn out at the scales, back fired, trash talk, back fired.... War~ Cotto~~~

I can see Roach being worried about Cotto. But for god sakes you got to suck it up and hide it for the betterment of your fighter. Honestly, you shouldn't be bitching to every media source about how you don't want this location for manny's training camp or this sparing partner or making it public that you had to confront him about his focus in Manila. You got to keep that **** in house. And don't lose your cool over the other guys weight at the weigh in. Really, interms of making Manny fell confident he's doing a **** job.

Both guys are good fighters. The difference here is maybe the Margarito fight. Cotto was beaten very badly in that fight, and no matter what happens tommorow, Cotto will not be beaten up as badly as he was when he fought Margarito. That is significant. If this were 2 years ago I would have given Cotto a much better chance. I think the Margarito fight lingers on a little as knockout losses always do. Cotto could give a good showing and maybe win if he lands a good punch, but Pacman has not been stopped in that fashion. So that is why I think Pacman's handspeed will start to take over in the midrounds and cut up Cotto and the fight will be stopped.
