does anybody have video of manny supposedly losing a staredown yesterday?

 

All the way through, Freddy's been making comments and Cotto, along with his team, have just nodded their heads and said:

"say what you want, we'll do our own thing."

What you saw tonight was Roach being humiliated by a guy who is younger than him, who doesn't need to push his fighter to do the work, because his fighter sees that he has one job: be a fighter.

The 145 catch weight has backfired, Cotto is now incredibly fit. He did all that extra roadwork to get his body lean enough, and the stamina benefit will be clear.

Roach did everything he could to sway the fight in his man's favour, and now it's still 50-50, but Manny is clearly in with a warrior who's come to take care of business.

Are you people ******ed? How many fights do you have to see before you realise the staredows are irrelevant? You should stick to the wresting, cause theyre just a bit of promotional bull**** for the papers. Every fight some fool is saying bla bla is going to win cause bla bla bla happened at the staredown. It turns out not to mean ****, yet you line up to toss out the same asinine kind of thoughts next time round? You are a curious lot.

 

:rofl Nah.....I don't think Manny's Pride has anything to do with "Bruce Lee". And Manny has never been one to do a stare down. Manny looks the way he always does... Like a Happy ass kid in a candy store before his fights. He just looked like he was happy....like winning the lottery. It will be a good fight but Cotto had better get in there to do his damage early b/c he's not going to be able to maintain going down the stretch with PAC. The longer the fight goes.....the strong Manny gets and MIguel fades. TKO for PAC rd 9 or 10

 

The catch weight didn't back fire. It was a sucess b/c Cotto made weight, which was never a question in the minds of reasonable boxing fans. It was only a measly pound from his last fight. It was only an "excuse Point" for Cotto fans who didn't have ultimate confidence in their guy.

But now there is NO excuses....well, there shouldn't be. MIguel is fit, strong and roaring to go! May the best man win! I think PAC wins but would be dumb to say Cotto doesn't have a shot.

Roach did everything he could do to make this an EVEN fight....not to sway the fight in his man's favor b/c Manny is the SMALLER MAN! PAC's the only one going into ths fight at a disadvatage.....Not the BIGGER man going against the natrually smaller man!

 

Well Cotto not being intimidated by PAC is not really a big deal,honestly when Has Cotto ever been intimidated by anybody??

Oh yeah,look for Cotto to defeat Manny

 

I can almost gurantee that Cotto's Body attack will be shut down! I said almost! I just have a feeling that Cotto's mindset is going to the body but it will extrememly hard to find and he'll have to switch up his game plan towards the mid rounds b/c he's eating counters by trying to stick to the original game plan of working PAC's mid section.
