I've been waiting to hear answers to my questions, it's all silence. This means to me you're all just nerds who know "history of boxing." but don't know about "boxing." Knowing about history of boxing = nerds. You only know about boxing because you read them all alone in your room or watching fights on your sofas. Get a life!

Those questions also relates more as to what do you know about who the boxers are, not about knowing boxing. If you asked the guys about boxing as in real boxing, about actual fights or knowing how to fight, you'd be surprised what you'd learn.

A lot of Filipinos are into boxing, unfortunately they are not exposed to boxing outside of the country, and those you met, chances are, they just got to the U.S. How about you, do you know any of the boxers in the Philippines that haven't been exposed to the U.S.?

i was at the weigh in and the majority (and by that i mean like 95%) of pacfans do not know **** about boxing.....i did my homework and talked too many of them...the only one that even came close to knowing a little about boxing thought it was ok that soto karass came in 1 pound over....he said "yeah, in boxing you're allowed 1 pound over"........ then he went on to say that mma is taking over....i asked him about manny's career and what he thinks about who he should fight next...well the idiot said manny is all about money now and will not take on any more high risked fights after marquez......according to him, oscar, hatton and cotto were and are all bums that are there just to make manny some millions.....hahahahahaahahahaha

man, i couldn't believe this guys...but like i said, he was the only one that came close to knowing a bit about boxing......then he would cheer on every phillipino that weighed in, but as soon as we walked out, he saw me talking to nonito donair and asked me "who's that"

it was great to see the support manny gets, but really..it was and is pretty obvious that most pacfans are newbs to the sport and probably wont watch it no more when he's gone.........

pacfans were deeper, but the puerto ricans were a lot louder.....it's crazy over here.....

I hate to talk boxing with someone who's just a casual fan. They always say something stupid. I was at work talking to a guy about the Trinidad vs Vargas fight and he seemed some what knowledgeable until he said something to the effect of " I wonder why Tyson and SRL never fought". No lie, he said that and I about **** my pants. Till this day I have never talked to this guy about boxing again.
