Hatton may have lost the fight but he drew the event with Pacquiao if you don't include the first round, or the second.

He deserves a rematch on that basis.

Yeah Pac looked on the brink of destruction. Just one shot away from being ko'd.

Ricky's face scored more power shots than his hands.

Fighters have to find some way to believe in themselves or they can't climb those steps again... I've heard worse.

I thought he was delusional myself after hearing him on sky sports this morning commenting that 'even manny would say i hurt him a few times in there'

I think Rickys took one too many punches to the head.

My,my, Pac must have really shook up Ricky's marbles good! Hatton almost thinks he was beating him like Walcott was beating Marciano until the lights went out on him...excuse making and revisionist at the same time.

Be fair to Hatton, most fighters who had suffered such a comprehensive defeat would never have the courage to re-watch the tape.

Hatton obviously hasn't seen the fight himself, he's only seeing what he remembers in his head on that night.

You guys missed the real story, he was talking about a beer drinking contest they had after the fight. It was at the Pacman's victory party!

And, if that's anything at all, then the second round wasn't quite as one-sided as I thought.

I also thought Hatton had lost the 2nd round but had improved from round 1.

That being the case I could not beleive he was so stupid to keep comming forward after the ten second warning for the end of the round where he was knocked out. Surely an intelligent fighter says at that point "ok ive lost this round 10-9 but I have improved from the 1st. Lets regroup and come out and do better in the 3rd".

    Utter stupidity.
