Now that he doesn't have a belt anymore?

Why would anyone even bother fighting him?

    - good question

Because he lost a somewhat questionable decision the WBA will give him another shot at the title - John ****ing Ruiz is still in the mix ffs

Also one of the Klits might want to beat the crap outta him so i think we will see him fight again in the not too distant future

Yeah, good question. He won't be on many fighter's wish list. I remember the same being said about Byrd a few years ago.

I hope one of the Klits will destroy him into retirement.

No chance. Nobody is going to beat him to a pulp because it would involve getting close enough to be hit, and at the end of the day none of the heavies want to be hit by a guy twice their height and weight.

The Klitschko's kept well away from Valuev and they aren't about to call him out now.

If you count hearsay, one sides stories, and press statements from people employed by either side as evidence. If they wanted it...really wanted it they would throw a bunch of money at him and we could have had unification like 5 years ago. Same could be said about team Valuev if he wanted them. All evidence points to niether camp wanting it enough.

Right. And you could say the same about Riddick Bowe and Lewis never fighting. The fact is that if a fighters managers don't want him to take a huge risk, then he won't.

Valuev is now the main gatekeeper of the division.....he is your measuring stick, right before you get a klit....

Questionable? You have to land punches to win a fight

WBA Heavyweight belt is losing credibility throwing in people like John Ruiz into the mix - Valuev will be back for a meaningless title like IBO or something

Fighting him has no appeal, now. I highly doubt either K brother would want to fight him, when he's just been beaten. They'll obviously see Valuev as *already covered ground*. I recall Wlad saying fighting Valuev has little demand, right after Chagaev beat him. Now he's been beaten again. So he's now been beaten twice, and has no title to offer.

For the top guys, like Chag, Wlad, Vitali, Haye, Povetkin, Chambers, etc, Valuev is a pointless fight. Big risk and little to no reward.

But he may be a desireable win for some of lower ranked heavies.
