That was a classic fight. That's my favorite boxing trilogy by far. The turn back the clock performance of the 1st fight, the return by Pac in the 2nd and then the emphatic finale to wrap it all up.
The way Morales changed fighting style's so late in his career to account for Pac's power is remarkable. This fight is the reason I think people are wrong when they say Cotto should walk Pacman down. DLH, Hatton and Barrera tried that with little success.
As an appetizer, I'm watching Cotto's fights with Gomez, Margarito and Clottey. Now that you guys brought it up, I think I'm also going to go watch that first Pac-Morales fight. Dang. Still gotta wait awhile before the main event.
Morales was everything fight fans looked for in a figther. He was talented, a champion, and he put the fans first. The Boxing world misses him.
