If you didn't think he was before this fight, there's no way to deny it now.

I know like two of the seven divisions he won titles in weren't actual belts, but there can't be any doubts now.

Weight he began his career at -----

Weight division for tonight's belt ---

35 freaking pounds, for a small guy!

The most amazing thing about this fight was that Cotto never hurt Pac, and he hit him with some damn good shots.

It was a clinic tonight. Cotto was in fantastic shape and had a great gameplan and he still got beat down. Pac carried him the last few rounds then went for the kill in the 12th.

I still think PBF beats Pac because of the size and reach difference. Pac is still wild and he wouldn't get away with that against Floyd. If they were the same size, Pac wins. They're not, Pac loses.

That said, Pac is the best P4P fighter in the world and one of the greatest of all time based upon his accomplishments. The guy is just an athletic freak and I'm sure as heck glad I've had the opportunity to watch his ascent into mega-stardom.

He beat a guy tonight who is clearly one of the best fighters in the world, a guy who Floyd ducked and a guy whose only loss was to a known cheater.

Margarito didn't ruin Cotto...but Pacquiao did.

    ALL HAIL
    KING PAC!!

Yep Manny was sensational tonight, and I think there is no way anyone can belittle his victory today. Cotto is an elite welterweight, and Manny has just destroyed him.

It was very sad seeing Cotto take punishment like that again, and I imagine this is a worser night than the Margarito night (for the hardcore Cotto fans). Especially when you consider the manner of this defeat, and the trouble we saw him in. Will we ever see the same Miguel Cotto again? I fear the worst

As for Mayweather? I can not see anything stopping this fight from taking place now. I still pick Mayweather for the victory, as I again saw loopholes in Pac's game which Floyd will not leave unexploited.

    An amazing win, congrats Manny

All time great?!, that's old news and an insult at this stage to be honest. #1 of this generation is where he's at and top 10 ATG for me, has been top 10 ATG after DLH anyway, Hatton and Cotto are just.... I have no comment.

Hell yes, Manny is one of the greatest boxers ever in history, hes a physical freak . If he beats Floyd hed be perhaps the greatest, top 5 easy, but I think Floyd will set his usual ridiculous preconditions and then run to a close points win. How great would it be if Floyd got knocked out though, I have respect for Floyd ability and dedication to ringcraft but he can be such a ***** and Pacman is how it should be done

Scar, we both know that people have been trying to deny it. There can't be any more denying it now. This guy is a once-in-a-generation type of a fighter.

I just had to let those know who didn't watch the bout that Manny Steward mentioned Pac along with Ali and Ray Robinson.

The guy is just incredible, and the only person close right now is PBF (who I think wins the head to head).

I give Pac top 10 at this stage... unbelievable. I'm still sad Cotto lost. I just felt Cotto's realizing he could not do anything to Manny. The look in Cotto's eyes nearly braught me to tears.. damn...

I hope Cotto can come back but I don't mind if he retires either. He is still one of the best Welterweights, but Manny is on a whole another level.

Soon Manny is going to tell us that Jordan is an all-time basketball great:lol:

Pacquiao after tonight is without a doubt the greatest fighter of our generation. What he is doing right now defies all logic. At this juncture of his career he simply looks invincible. This victory better silence all the critics who questioned his two prior victories. Cotto is a full fledged welterweight, and Manny made him look silly

Mayweather/Pacquiao better be made. No excuses from either sides

I was confident Pac would win. What did surprise me is how tought Cotto is.I was expecting PAc to end it in the 6th. And he had him down twice.Sure he ran but he took some big shot and his face was banged up and he refused to go down.Tough tough warrior.

It's incredible. I remember when he was just a good fighter with no real right hand who lacked many skills. Now he's like MEGASTAR. Amazing how far he has come!
