It was Pacquiao's night, no doubt about it, but it's also necessary to mention that Cotto deserves enormous credit for taking his beating like a man, for being a fearless fighter, and for his overall display of class and heart throughout his career.

Much love and respect for Cotto. He's a good guy, and he's always done it the right way, quietly, working hard, staying classy and giving respect to the game and his opponent. No shame Cotto, best of luck to you. :good

As a Pac fan, I say kudos to Cotto. I knew he wasn't going to quit. He's got the heart of a true champion.

The only thing I could criticize Cotto for is abondoning his jab in the 2nd round. Winning the 2nd as clearly as he won the 1st might have dented Pac's confidence enough to change the tone of the fight. However, Cotto is a great warrior, and he is still one of my favorites.

And by the way, for Cotto the road to redemption goes through Antonio Margarito.

Cotto owes Margarito a serious asskicking anyway. I'd love to see it and hope he would put Margo down just like Shane did.

I've been a Cotto fan for a while now, and fighters like him are one of the reasons why I love boxing. Always leaves everything in the ring and gives the fans what they came for. Puerto Rico has a lot to be proud of in Cotto.

He showed a ton of class in the post fight interview. I hope he comes back from this and retakes a belt at WW.

After his display tonight, I forgive him for his rabbit punching, low blows and headbutts. If I was Cotto, I woulda done the same thing.

Cotto was outboxing Pac for spells early in the fight thats for sure, he started well and won the first rd but seemed to lose his head in the 2nd round, looking back this was the moment when his chance on the night disappeared, had he kept his composure the whole way through then he wouldnt have been hurt as early and he was still landing quite a bit on Pac aswell, it wasnt all one way till the mid rounds.

Felt it should maybe have been stopped sooner but after letting hm go past 10 and 11 i felt the stoppage was a bit cruel but he has lost anyway.
