Don't be stupid. Pacquiao has fought top fighters for years and sometimes made really good fighters look ordinary. Morales, Barrera, JMM, Oscar, Cotto, they're all great fighters. Also, the freakish thing is that he's getting better and better. The current Pacquiao is miles ahead of the Pacquiao who fought Barrera/Morales, and even ahead of when he fought JMM.

thank you guys, i just wanna vent my fustration out. I was on thin ice with Miguel as a fan for a long time, I would defend him, put hope on him, and nothing. I saw the PPV at a cigar shop...everytime, marines, policemen, firemen rooting for him, than the look on all of our faces when he loses Im just trying to say, hes not that good as I taught he was, full cerdit to Manny he made History and all that. But Miguel should sit with Hatton on the Milk Dud bus...

Aloso Vargas is one of my many favorite fighters. I just so happened to make a user name with his name. So ****ing what you little twat.

 

I agree with Rican's post. I will make no excuses for the loss. . .all credit to Pacquiao, the man is a modern, living legend. But Miguel dude. . .that performance was ****ing garbage. So much training, so much conditioning only to end up looking like he didn't even deserve to be in a ring with Pac.

2. Cotto's right hand: non-existent

3. Cotto's inside game: non-existent

4. Cotto's jaw: grade A china

5. Cotto's punch resistance: non-existent

6. Cotto using his strength to impose his will: non-existent

7. Cotto roughing up Pac: non-existent

8. Cotto's jab: it was there. . .for maybe 2 rounds. . .then it just faded and became ever more infrequent



When Cotto got hit he did not respond back with a vengeance, unintimidated, and furious like Marquez did. I guess you have to be Mexican in order to do that it seems. . .Rather, when hit, Cotto got into that god damn useless retreat mode of his, pretty much admitting defeat. I understand that perhaps the civil and polite thing to do would be to praise Cotto for a gutsy showing but me, like the millions other Puerto Ricans on the island and on the mainland, were really expecting a real battle, not an annihilation.




Cotto man. . .if you would have lost but if you would have at least made Pac go to hell and back for his win, severely damaging him in the process, I would sincerely salute you. . .but you looked like you do not belong in the same ring with Pac. I am Puerto Rican, from Caguas and I FRIGGIN TRAIN IN HIS SAME GYM IN BAIROA. I am utterly heart broken. . .very very sad, mad and just really feel like **** right now:?.
