Cotto needs better people in his corner ,if he keeps these same people he's going to lose all his fight now that he;s been expose more than twice. Experience corner men wins fight ,that why mayweather would win 80 percent of the round against either cotto or pac.

I feel gutted for him still, but even though he took the first round I saw too much speed with manny already. I think if he has stuck to his jab in a disciplined manner as was mention here previously and not try and trade early on he would have possibly made it more competative.

But all props to manny not this catchweight things needs to go and fight properly. No excuses for cotto he wasn't the best tonite but at 145 he was never going to be.

Also he really needs a proper trainer. This fight was also about tactics and knowing how to defeat your opponent. What roach worked on with manny worked however roach thought he would ko the warrior early or even in 9/10 but didnt happen and you can't think like that. Cotto really needs someone who can take him up again.

Many ppl have suffered loses and came back. Cotto can do this, I still think he is one of the best welterweights but he has to re-think what he is gonna do and who with.

I always liked Cotto, until I heard him say Hatton was overrated and belittled Pac's victory over him, and over De La Hoya.

But yeah, he took a good beating, even if he flat out ran in those final rounds. Don't know where he goes from here. But he has a few big money options left.

There's the Margo rematch which could give him some sort of redemption. Also, I'm sure Mosley wouldn't hesitate in trying to avenge his loss to Cotto, particularly as it seems Mayweather wants no part of him.

And since Cotto opened his mouth up about Hatton being overrated, that could be another fireworks type of matchup I'm sure alot of people would be interestted in seeing.

Very classy of you. I see no reason how anyone could hate Cotto, he is the epitome of a man's man...and he congratulated Pac heartily with the classiness you would expect of him.

It was a bit heart wrenching seeing Cotto take another beating so brutally, i was especially hoping he would go the distance. He was gutsy however and gave Pacquiao his first real fight in a while.

You can't not like Miguel Cotto.

He is still a great fighter. Gotta give respect for the way in which he took his loss like a man.

Cotto fought a dumb fight he did well with his jab in the 1st but abandoned it. He still fights dumb. He didn't learn anything from his loss to Margo. He still refuses to clinch and abandons his game plan too early in the fight. The guy has a horrible ring IQ

Glad theres a thread bout giving Cotto respect but as fans we can only jump on the negative theres no question Cotto prepared, the man went to camp a moth earlier than Pac, moved training camps just to fight Pac and yet it wasnt enough! He gave it his all and you have respect that more than the outcome of the fight.

Props to Miguel Angel Cotto for being a true warrior. He fought valiantly till the end!!!! He better get some new people especially a trainer if he wants to continue fighting otherwise he might end up losing again. He had all the tools to beat the "PACMAN" he just didnt have the decent corner like the other top fighters do.
