I take your point, but in the Hatton & De La Hoya fights the opponent had a lot to do with the bigger numbers for Mayweather, & as I said, with Pac being the more accomplished fighter I just don't see a 60/40 split in Mayweathers favour as fair.

    50-50 is about right..

but if anyone has an argument for more it is surely Pac.

Mayweather can argue he is the bigger PPV star, but the truth is DLH and Hatton had more to do with that than him. And I don't care about Mayweather being on Dancing With The Stars or in the WWE. That doesn't prove anything other than his promoter did a good job getting him those gigs.

Still most people I ask have no idea who Floyd Mayweather is. However with Pac most do know who he is and know he is the best fighter in the world. He is right now the most well-known current fighter worldwide. He has achieved this purely by daring to be great and taking on all comers in the ring. So if he wants 55-60, I won't disagree.

Your argument loses it's steam when you say people payed to see DLH and Hatton, but not PBF. DLH and Hatton are the fighters that both Pac and PBF fought, and PBF sold more (PBF/DLH > Pac/DLH + PBF/Hatton > Pac Hatton).

Also, the "people I taked to" bit just doesn't really mean anything.

I think what some other poeple said about seeing how Pac did with sells tonight, but also seeing about the other terms of the fight. Pac wanst a catchweight, than he gets 40%, he wants no catch, then 50% Something like that.

If Mayweather thinks he deserves more, he should accept "winner 55, loser 45".

Yep Pacman was willing to come down to take the Hatton fight. It will be all in PBF's hands and if it doesnt happen its because he is greedy or scared of losing his 0.

this is wayy to much of a knee jerk poll

he just destroyed cotto, who do u think is gna win the poll

after floyd destroyed marquez we had similar polls

wtf does it matter, after the dust settles its clear they would be each others biggest fight 50-50 seems fair. Floyd sold a mil plus in a big mismatch, i havent seen today ppv numbers but the nature of the win means Manny deserves at least 50 %

Totally agree. Floyd is getting old and needs the payday so unless he is **** scared of fighting Manny he will accept 50 split IMO

Should be a 90-10 split infavour of Pac.
We all know Floyd will not take this fight so lets talk about another possible opponent before he retires.

I think the only fair way to settle it is 60-40 to the winner. They are the 2 best fighters of this generation, and the better man deserves the Lion's share, which won't be known until after the fight.
