Stop beating up my favourite fighters!:fire This content is protected This content is protected This content is protected Seriously, though, this bloke's career and overall resume is something else. He doesn't just move up weight classes and pick up a belt - he moves up and dominates and then moves on again. I picked a late Pac TKO, but the achievement of going from light fly to welter is just immense and we should appreciate the phenom while he's here. I cannot believe he made such easy work of one of the best welters currently around he even dropped the guy twice and took everything that did come his way as well! The catchweight in this fight meant little to me as well- Cotto has always made welter comfortably, and didn't look dehydrated or gaunt on the scales at the weigh in, and Pacquiao was fighting at 144 anyway. I still think PBF would make comfortable work of Pacman and I'd perfer a fight with Mosley (after he whoops Berto) next as it has the potential to be a much more entertaining fight and Mosley won't be a ***** during negotiations, but whatever he does we should appreciate him whilst he's here. People will ask us in many years to come 'what was Pacquiao like?' and I, for one, will be very proud to give an answer. I still cannot believe what I have had the pleasure to witness. WOW! :good
I think Mayweathers right hand could be the step too far. He can't have transformed entirely since Marquez, surely? That said Judah troubled Mayweather for a couple of rounds.
It was an excellent performance from Manny. It's a shame that Cotto got undisciplined in the fourth because it could have been much more competitive without that KD, which took everything out of the Puerto Rican. I'm sad for Cotto, but Manny's such a good guy and such a warrior himself - I think we are witnessing at ATG.
Manny is one of a kind, it was a master class from the little man last night. Speed, balance, timing, footwork, workrate, combos, punching angles, power, good chin, heart, I can go on and on. LEGEND :thumbsup
he needs to beat mayweather and mosley at welterweight to be considered a great at welterweight ,he has not stayed at a weight long enough to a great at any certain weight but as a weight jumper he is a great
Brilliant performance. What excuse do you think Mayweather will use to duck him? I'm going for the fact Pac hasn't called him out directly.
^^^ 'I'd love to fight Manny, but he is with Bob Arum...' I seriously think that the PBF fight won't happen next anyway. PBF is going to give it 'I'm not taking 50/50' for months on end and, after months have passed, Pacquiao will hopefully fight the other beast of 147lb out there, Shane Mosley, and then have a greater CV at welter than PBF has.
