Pac now has the WBO belt. Strictly hypothetically, if he fights and beats the winner of Berto/Mosley, he'll have WBO, WBC, and WBA welterweight belts. Would that be enough to make him Ring/Lineal Champion at WW? That would make him the first ever to have the lineal championship in 5 different weight divisions. :shock: Thoughts?
1 thing i noticed when they put the wbo belt on pac, it was a 'Super World Champion' belt, was this because of the 'diamond' wbc belt involved in this fight. Or did the wbo find a reason to upgrade Cotto to Super Champion prior to the fight?

Well Mosley is the lineal champ in my opinion. It was Judah Baldo Mayweather - retired Cotto beat mosley to be regarded as the lineal champ Margo beat Cotto Mosley beat Margo Although, with mayweather coming back doesn't that make him the lineal champ automatically? Whatever the situation, Mayweather needs to fight pacman, hopefully he puts his ego aside, because Mayweather needs Pacman.
id like to see Pac fight Mayweather, Mosley, foreman at light middle then PW or Pavlik at middleweight, 9 weight world champ ;-)
i was pushing for casa back then for pac instead of diaz because casa then was already right for the pickings but still the lineal champ at 135 and better name (not necesarily better than diaz at that time) but politics came into play and diaz was pre-selected because he is also from top rank. if team pac had chosen him instead of diaz, pac is now a 5 time lineal champ.
