PBF, might have the same speed but without power he will eventually fall to Pacquiao's attach and stalking. Pacquiao is like a terminator, he will just keep going forward, he will not tire, he can't be bargain with, he will just keep beating you until he finishes his mission.

PBF's punches will be like flies or boger flings, Pacquiao will just brush it off.

After I witness Cotto's defeat last night, I don't see Pacquiao being hurt at all by Mayweather's punches.

  2. He doesnt even have the balls to fight him. Floyd's a woman.

It's not about pure power. Mayweather hurts you because he counters you so well or hits you with a punch you never see coming. Marquez was able to hurt Pac like this too. Pac has a habit of lunging in throwing combinations, which is often deadly, but can leave him open to some crisp counters.

He might not have the power but he has the speed to shock him with punches like Pacquiao has the speed as well, this is why I see it as a 50/50 fight. Both guys are too fast and both will be looked to land shots their opponent's don't expect, that's what they specialize in. Pacquiao does it aggressively and can do it defensively if needed, though and Mayweather does it best defensively and can also do it aggressively if needed.

I agree Mayweather probably won't hurt Manny. He'll outbox him though and won't let Manny touch him that often. Manny will win some rounds but it'll probably be a 116-112 UD

His defense isn't impregnable against Pacquiao.

It's not all about the power. It's about timing too, and Floyd has this in abundance.

Just because Cotto didn't seriously rock Manny, doesn't mean Mayweather won't. He's a completely different fighter, with a seriously under rated arsene of attack. People marvel at his defence, but his offense is something incredible too.

I think Manny is made for him

I agree it would be a counter or a percise counter that would have to knock Manny down ..And Floyd is smart enough but can his d sustain the barrage of punches Manny throws from odd angles ..This is going to be one hell of a fight ..

If Zab Judah can get through that impregnable offense. So can Manny.

What offense? All his fights are him running.

Mayweather does not have serious power at 147, and Pacquiao does have a serious chin as he proved last night.

Floyd fans point to the Hatton fight as proof of punching power, using Hatton's zero as proof that he was some sort of George Chuvalo before Mayweather got to him, and that's why he was so easy for Pac to KO.

As usual: Fail. Luis "KO King" Collazo had already exposed Hatton's chin at welter by almost knocking him out, it was already a glaring weakness before he fought Mayweather. The fact that Pacquiao annihilated Hatton in 20% of the time it took Floyd - especially considering that Pac fought Hatton at Hatton's best weight and Floyd didn't - shows that he has an explosive power that Floyd doesn't have now (and arguably never had to the same degree).

I don't think Floyd can KO Manny, and I don't think Manny can KO Floyd. I see Manny's workrate winning a decision over the 147 one-punch-at-a-time pot-shot machine.

Pac won't fight Mayweather at 147 either. It will be another stupid catch weigh fight to try and drain his opponent. At 147 Mayweather knocks Pac out.

Mayweathers power is in the snap of his punches, very underrated, his stoppage ratio doesnt really reflect this. His defence is almost illegal its so effective.

Pac walks through Floyds best and KO's him rather easily. Floyd just runs and jabs. If he does that against Pac, he will be layed out on the canvas quickly
