Manny Pacquiao deserves to be placed amongst the True ATG's

    First off, pacquiao should surely by recognised now as one of the true ATG's, and the discussion can now begin in ernest placing him amongst the likes of duran, SRL and the rest of the top ATG's. I honestly felt sorry for cotto when pacquiao just stood there and let cotto tee off of him on the ropes. Lets not forget cotto has hurt many a fighter with those shots, clottey included.

    Lets try to get some perspective on this feat. Manny was probably outweighed about 10lbs on fight night a similar situation to mayweather castillo 1. However, even with the weight discrepency cotto could not outfight manny, not even close. He forced the heavier stronger man to survive for the last few rounds to avoid his onslaught.

    On the point of cotto 'outboxing' manny for the last few rounds, if you think miguel was actually winning rounds doing that, think again. Manny was still tagging him with viscious shots whilst he was moving away which were hurting miguel. This is the same miguel who took bombs from mosley from 12 rounds, who people said for example had seen speed and power like manny's in Zab Judah (you know who you are).

    The fight the whole world wants to see know is pacquiao-mayweather. This fight could easily be FOTC IF mayweather elects to fight manny and not scrape out a decision. I say scrape out a decision becasue you can bet your ass that manny will land cleanly on mayweather at some point in their fight and will hurt mayweather. Mayweather should take this oppurtunity to fight manny as a blessing because if he can beat him convincingly than his claims to being one of the best that ever laced them up will be valid. Remember, those of you who think pacquiao will fight mayweather the same way he fought cotto need their head examined, he will prepare for his potshotting and running. I cant imagine where pacquiao would be placed on those mythical P4P ATG lists if he were to beat mayweather in such a confincing fashion.

    What Pacquiao did last night was absolutely incredible. Amazing. Mind boggling. Spectacular. Whatever other adjectives you want to insert. This man is my ****ing hero. I don't know if people realize what he accomplished last night. I don't think people realize what this win is going to do for boxing. I mean...he knocked out Miguel Cotto. He KNOCKED OUT Miguel Cotto! Beat his ass! Unbelievable! Shane Mosley couldn't do it. Zab Judah couldn't. Clottey couldn't. But Pacquiao comes in and there...oh man, let me stop. I'm still excited 10 hours later!

    But yeah, ATGs...MANNY PACQUIAO.

    Indeed, some people are saying overrated win but the only other guy to have KO'd Cotto is a guy who potentially had loaded gloves.

    It was a brilliant victory. I predicted a victory for Cotto because at this point, we had no idea that Pacquaio could take a genuine welterweight punch. Boy was I wrong.

    The man deserves his status as an ATG.

    As soon as i saw manny laying on the ropes goading cotto in I knew cotto was going to get stopped. Roll on pacquiao vs mayweather.
