 @ some of the replies on this thread.

Mayweather's power is underrated and he will beat Pac on points quite clearly should they ever meet.

Ww the Pacman bandwagon is at full force huh?! Well lets disspell the 1st myth that Floyd doesnt have any power----Floys actually packs a punch in both hands- he has just resorted the last few years to letting his superior boxing and defensive skills to win fights for him in wide margins....Floyd is very cerebral and recognizes situations for what they are...he realizes now people are going to start writing him off, and if this fight does happen at the 147 limit, please don't be surprised if he manhandles Pacman inside 8 rds...The only thing larger than his ego for money is his ego for people telling him he cant beat a man..this is probably the first fight since the Chico fight where it'd be considered a 50/50 fight for Floyd something i'm sure will get under Floyds skin and will force him to display everything he's got..

Floyd couldnt even hurt a shot fat Marquez, it shows his power at WW is pathetic. Pac took Cotto's best and will take Floyds best with ease.

Floyd wants none of Pac, trust me

Didn't hurt him? He dumped the guy on his ass after a long layoff for ****s sake.

Was this the guy who was also unable to hurt DLH, but actually had him doing a silly dance in the fifth??

If you honestly think he brushes Mayweather's best off like it's nothing then you are VERY naive.

I don't expect him to KO Pac but he will catch him with such regularity that the decision will not be in doubt.

Perfectly put buddy! I see this as a WIDE UD for PBF...i think yesterday Pacman was exposed a little bit---a boxer who knows how to garner safe distance from Pacman can beat him---either get really close to him in a phone booth style fight (which floyd can accel in,) or give him a bit of distance to jab at him (doesnt hurt PBF has a 5" longer reach.)

The big difference between Cotto and PBF is that PBF has excellent defense, great reflexes to avoid punches and great stamina.

I am very happy and proud of what Pacquiao did last night but truth is that I do not see any idnication of how he will beat PBF. I was less impressed with Pac's game plan and especially how Cotto easily hit him, althroughout the fight.

If anything, I am superbly impressed with Pac's chin and endurance but it wil take more than that to beat PBF.

If DLH can beat PBF (but just got robbed), PAC will beat PBF by TKO.

Hahahahhaa dude you should know by now that those formulas are never precise--I want to argue every syllable of your post- from your "blatant robbery" accusation, to the fact that Pac took on a weight drained Hoya whereas PBF fought him at his natural weight (i believe PBF was 150 lb for his fight against DLH.) Just quit posting nonsense, your argument holds very little substance or validity to it....

If he went into a phonebooth type fight with Pac, it would be over very quickly. Pac wouldnt even feel Floyds soft hands

So you didn't recognize in the first 3-4 rounds of last nights fight that Cotto was most effective when he properly inserted the appropriate amount of distance with Pac? I think you're misunderstanding what i'm saying- if he gets right in Pac's chest to fight him, Pac can't build any momentum off his jabs to come in with that straight left/left hook...I'm saying PBF would have a field day because he would either place himself leaning into Pac's chest and fighting, or he'd give about a 3-4 foot distance and repeatedly nail him with his longer reach...PBF's i'm sure recognizes this already and will probably gobble up the chance to fight this dude now....

Pac can't fight on the inside and PBF excels at it. Log off man you don't know what you're talking about.

Floyd does not have the power to fight Manny at all.
He should go back down to 135 where the fighters are more on his level., Above 135, he has looked good against bums, yes I agree
