Trinidad says, " Cotto please retire..."

I love Tito. But holy ****. He's one to talk about knowing when to call it a day.

 

trinidad never took a serious ass whopping like cotto took against pac and marg. hes ruined and he should quit the game

 

I think Cotto could still have a few more good fights in him.

 

i can see what hes saying in the past year & half cotto has took ALOT of punishment against margarito,clottey & pacquiao

Trinidad did not say Cotto should retire. He said he should fight two or three more fights and THEN retire and enjoy his family and money. The story is at www.endi.com (PR's newspapers).

 

Trinidad's fights were all competitive, outside of a bloody nose, he was never hurt in any of them, including his ko to Hopkins. At first I thought Trinidad was talking **** but he makes sense.

 

Cotto might have one good fight left in him and be able to beat one of the solid, but non-elite WWs, but it's not worth it in my view.

 

Well, B-Hop kicked his asses badly in 2001 and trinidad fought a couple of more fights...

 

wow...just wow.....a lot of cotto haters pops out....the sad thing is, they are cottos fans two days ago.

 

Cotto could beat any other WW aside from Paul Williams and Manny. COtto should only retire if he doesn't have the desire to go through the rigors of preparing for war and if his heart is no longer in the game. Just b/c PAC dominated him doesn't mean he's no good. After the Marg loss Cotto came back better....more intelligent and a more capable fighter. He just lost to a bonifide great fghter like PAC.

 

What the hell are u talking about? Hopkins mopped the floor with Trinidad. It was much worse.

 

Cotto shows problems with come forward guys that can take his shots and throw alot in return but he shouldn't call it quits just yet.
