He said today that he was very confident that Cotto would dispatch Manny. However, he proved to be too fast and too good.... He said the kind of punishment Cotto has been receiving leaves permanent affects and that he would advise him to retire....maybe a couple of fights more, but retire....leave the game with your health intact !!! I think the same thing.....Margarita robbed Cotto of boxing life ....cheating ******* !!!!
trinidad never took a serious ass whopping like cotto took against pac and marg. hes ruined and he should quit the game

Trinidad's fights were all competitive, outside of a bloody nose, he was never hurt in any of them, including his ko to Hopkins. At first I thought Trinidad was talking **** but he makes sense.
Cotto might have one good fight left in him and be able to beat one of the solid, but non-elite WWs, but it's not worth it in my view.

Cotto could beat any other WW aside from Paul Williams and Manny. COtto should only retire if he doesn't have the desire to go through the rigors of preparing for war and if his heart is no longer in the game. Just b/c PAC dominated him doesn't mean he's no good. After the Marg loss Cotto came back better....more intelligent and a more capable fighter. He just lost to a bonifide great fghter like PAC.
Cotto shows problems with come forward guys that can take his shots and throw alot in return but he shouldn't call it quits just yet.
