Kenny Bayless doesn't deserve to ref a world title fight ever again!

Don't pay attention to David_TheMan. He had Juan Diaz shutting out Malignaggi.

 

WTF is this ****?? One guy claiming the fight was nearly a draw, the other claiming Cotto won the last 3 rounds "easily".

Oh, and Bayless stopped the fight because Cotto was slumped helpless against the ropes. WTF was he supposed to do?? If anything, he gave Cotto way too many chances to survive the fight.

what a ****ing ****** you are. kenny cold have stoppped this way earlier but when he was about to... cotto would throw a couple good punches and he would stop. bayless did a fine job. you need to watch some more boxing before you decide to run your mouth about **** you dont abviously know about.

WTFatsch Cotto won the last 3 rounds? why don't you go back and watch the 10th round when cotto's wife left cuz she couldn't watch her husband getting beat.:rofl Cotto got beat in that fight. He was down on all scorecards and had no chance of winning.

 

I didn't agree with the stoppage. I think it either should have been done sooner or he should have let Cotto try to finish the fight.

Kenny Bayless however is one of the finest refs in the sport, along with Steve Smoger.

 

Did you see Freddie Roach after the fight? That is why bouts get stopped. hth.

Bayless let the fight go on for as long as it did because he felt Cotto still had a punchers chance,and it was a title fight between two great fighters. But when Manny had started his final assault when had backed Cotto up to the ropes and Cotto was about to be on the receiving end again he intervened.

A referee is not a time keeper, and if he puts emphasis on a fighters reputation more than on his immediate health and safety then he is not doing his job.

Stopping a fight that could not have been won by Cotto was done at the precise time it merited that particular action.

As a fighter.... i could say he should have left him to finish the fight.....but only because fighters do not take health into any deep or meaningful consideration until its too late...

As a Ref i say he was spot on to take the action he did at the time he did it because the over riding responsibility has everything to do with the health and safety of the fighter during the fight AND with consideration to posssible long term effects any further unnecessary damage may have upon the fighter....

 

point was cotto could have been killed if it carried on - yes it shuda bin stopped earlier but evryone could see pac was going in for the kill. cottos corner suck - they shuda pulled him out after round 9
