Everybody thought the same about Hatton when he beat Castillo as they do now about Manny.

Take a few steps back and think about it for a minute.

    Freddie Roach is the "master"

Floyd Mayweather Jr. is the GRANDMASTER.

Yes, Manny has been in with a lot of great mexican fighters.

You're all forgetting Cotto was already an overrated fighter - go down the list, Torres, Corley, Malignaggi. This is a guy that wins ugly fights. Who knows the truth about Margarito. What I'm trying to say as a generalization is, fighters are more likely to KO Cotto than they are likely to win a single round against Floyd.

Yes, the notion will come up, "styles win fights". It means nothing here.

Mayweather is a tactician. This is a guy that will rarely leave a round to question. He is just as fast as Pac at this weight. He will use his size effectively. His defense is impregnable, and as boring as it is he will take no chances and box his way to a safe victory.

The hype needs to stop. Floyd will probably try to put a delay to this fight as much as possible. It will **** all of you off, and then you'll all look like fools and back peddle on your comments when the fight does come off and Floyd wins.

If Pacman wins I agree he will be the greatest fighter of all time.

Neither guy has ever faced a fighter like the other. They are each unique in the sport. Pac has a good chance. He will be countered by PBF, but he looks like he can take it. He will also keep up the attack on Floyd and will land. It makes for a GREAT fight IMO, and not one whose outcome is predetermined as PBF lovers seem to think. I can't say that Pac will be favored, but Floyd will be in for a fight, and if he wins, it will be that win he can finally hang his hat on and silence the critics.

Everyone has a chance to beat someone. You can't count Pac out but keep in mind Cotto beat Mosley and destroyed the guy who beat Paul Williams.

cotto had a real trainer then, i think he has a bad setup right now , he was doing well in the beginning then got knocked down and tried to out brawl pac which was horrible. his corner gave him NO ADJUSTMENTS just said "we're with you!" over and over

Pacquiao is gonna beat the highly overrated Mayweather quite badly. Worse than expected.

I just think man, Cotto strayed away from the gameplan. The first round went beautifully for him. He led with the jab and kept that left hand active, he popped Manny a good couple of times. He looked good, quick, compact, and clean. Then the second round came and I just feel he really understimated Manny's speed and power, he felt he could "put it on" Manny and play agressive against the agressor- bad idea. Manny is SOOOO fast, not even just the speed, he places those punches so well, weird akward angles, and he sees openings. Dotted Cotto once, and dropped him. From their I feel Cotto really wanted to get even more agressive as he was somewhat slighted by the fact he let a little guy knock him down....but Pac ain't no little guy...not at all. You can't play the agressor against a guy like Pac, that is his style. The speed was simply overwhelming. Cotto abandoned the jab and Pac was putting 3 or 4 shots on him before he could even think. He's a monster, speed, power, accuracy, stamina, and CHIN WOWWWW he took some flush shots!!!!

Goodness grief Pac-PBF will be something to behold

    He will make Mayweather Submit...

Mayweather wants no part of Pacman... I bet he makes the fight unable to happen...

Mayweather will ask for 10oz gloves, a bigger ring, the lions share , a higher weight limit ... everything he can do to NOT make the fight he will do.. mark my words

mayweather aint affraid of pac u kidding me its not fear it will be about the pride and ego of a fighter feeling he was dethroned without ever losing believing he is the rightful #1 lb for lb guy therefor earning him the right to make the stipulations of the bout geeeez
