Should Floyd take on a real WW before calling out WBO 147 / P4P Champ Pacquiao?

He should have about 2 more fights before Pac. Just to get the cobwebs out of his retirement. I am not sold on him beating a overweight sloppy Marquez

 

Mayweather needs Manny, much more than Manny needs Mayweather.

 

Mosley will be more than willing after he beats Berto.

 

Call out Pac now. Mayweather looked sharp against Marquez, and fighting other welters isn't going to be like fighting Pacquiao.

 

The green light has already been given to start negotiations.

 

Marquez was his tune-up so if he wants to call out Pac (hope he does) he should.

Oh yeah great idea let's waist some more time with Floyd Mayweather gaining virtually meaningless victories instead of going for the biggest legacy fight he could possibly fight. In fact, why not follow the Hopkins-Jones script and wait until, say, the 22nd century or something?

well i'll tell you this much. he may want to get this thing signed sealed and delivered before mosely/berto get after it. you know that the winner of that fight will be calling pac out as well.

C'mon BigBone, you know better. Everyone wants to see Pac vs. Mayweateher. I don't want to hear this bull**** about Pac not being a real Welter. He just destroyed Cotto who's a real Welter. Considering Mosley is fighting Berto, any fight that Mayweather fights besides Pac will be a complete waste of time.

 

I'm pretty sure Pac wants to retire soon to run for Congress so the clock's a ticking for this fight to be made...
