You're slagging off both fighters if you think Floyd hasn't fought anybody above 135; Pac's opposition above 135 consists of 2 fighter PBF already beat plus Cotto.

That makes sense. Cotto was unable to hurt Margo, Margo walked through the assault and stopped Cotto. If PBF can not hurt Pac, then Pac will walk through him and is fast enough to catch him.

I am NOT saying that PBF can't hurt him, however.

I guess I should have said, power to knock him out. Pacquiao is now WW power tested. Manny's packs more power and can seriously hurt PBF.

As others have said, it's not about how hard you can hit, it's about how hard you can hit while being fast and accurate with great timing when your opponent isn't expecting it. Both Mayweather and Pac will be in the ring with the fastest opponent with the best reflexes they've ever faced. I'll be a good fight and either guy can surprise the other. This will be the biggest fight of the last thirty plus years in boxing and I hope all the worthless ****ing flame clowns on this board don't waste everyone's time going on and on about how it'll be a clear and simple beatdown for either guy.

yep. after last night, mayweather's gotta be worried. i think pac can definitely hurt mayweather.

mayweather hurting pac is a different story. i really don't think pac would flinch at one of mayweather's shots after how he handled some of cotto's punches last night. the dude's a rock.

    mayweather's gonna lose his 0.

Floyds punching power is superior to Pacquiao, watch the tapes

What tapes? How about a link?

Pacquiao's punching is at least 2 or 3 times more powerful and that's being conservative. :bbb

Mayweather has enough power to stop Pacman. A nice accurate leaping left hook will be his downfall.

Look at how much trouble Pacman had with Cotto's jabbing & countering, his fate will be much worse should he fight Mayweather.

I think you're on the right track regarding Cotto, in fact I think Cotto made a major tactical error attempting to slug it out with Pacman instead of boxing from the outside. His jab was his Ace but he didn't make the most of it.

As for PBF v Pacman, I doubt that Floyd will make the same mistake as Cotto by going toe to toe, especially as PBF has a decent height and reach advantage over Pacman. Floyd is a great tactician and he'll be aware that Pacman fights best when he can circle his opponent and throw those crazy combos from all angles. Fighters that walk forward like Hatton or stand straight up and down like Dela Hoya are perfect for Pacmans style but Floyd won't have a bar of that.

Stlyes make fights and Pacman will have to rise to a whole new level if he fights PBF at 147. With PBF playing the counterpuncher I can see his long jabs and straight right hand driving Pacman mad with frustration as Pacman's best punches are those hooks that need to be thrown with his opponent in close.

The most valid point Ive heard to date.

It'l be round 1 Cotto VS Pac for 12 rounds but 10times worse.
PBF can get hurt I believe tho if Pac gets the opportunity which is hard to see happening.

so cotto lands a good amount of hard left hooks (arguably his best punch, especially being left handed) on pac's chin and he doesn't even blink and you're saying that mayweather's gonna knock him out? you're in for a surprise my friend.

it didn't look to me like pac had very much trouble at all with cotto's jabbing and countering. he walked right through everything.
