Catch weights will not be the reason that this fight will run into troubles in the negotiation process. It will all come down to money like it always does, i guarantee you that both guys will want the bigger split.

Second to all the people that say Roach will do his best to make a catchweight fight, well he's probably gonna try doing it but agreeing to 147 wouldn't be a problem with him at all either. Remember how he said that he would have NO problems if Cotto weighed MORE than 145, that they still wouldnt back out of the fight? Well, that shows that Roach is still confident in Pac beating a very powerful WW like Cotto even at 147. And I don't see that sentiment changing against Floyd at all who is not really that imposing physically.

Pac vs PBF WILL be at 147. Either way Pac stands a great chance at beating 'Money'.

If the fight is set at welter 147 there is no rule to stop Pac weighing in at 144.

I cannot see a problem apart from PBF not wanting the fight because he knows damn well his precious 0 is at serious risk against Pac.

 

Philla, that doesn't make any sense. Pac weigh in at 44, how will 3 more pounds make him bloated? Matter fact pac doesn't have to weigh in at 47 he can come in at 44 just like he did against cotto. Let's not be silly here.
