Pound-for-Pound, Manny Pacquiao is the greatest fighter since Pernell Whitaker.

Roy Jones by far. Even if Manny beats Money, Manny was beate several times in his prime. He also struggled like crazy with Marquez in 2 questionable fights. Even in the 2nd Morales fight it was an even fight on the cards till Pac KO'd him. Roy almost never lost a round in his prime.

If Pac beats Mayweather, I'd have to think long and hard about ranking Manny over Sweet Pea.

Hopkins was green, and had "accomplished" virtually nothing of note when Jones beat him. The same cannot be said of Barrera and Morales.

I think he overtakes Jones IF he beats Mayweather. In fact, if he beats Mayweather, then there will be a lot of ATGs he overtakes in the p4p rankings...

Manny's greater than Sweet Pea therefore I won't vote

I think when talking Manny we have to best think of Duran and Leonard

Roy Jones jr. & Floyd Mayweather Jr. > Manny Pacquiao > Barnard Hopkins

Resume wise, absolutely Pac is on top. Your poll is p4p though, and that's sheer opinion. Very hard to pick anyone against RJJ p4p.

Manny was beaten several times in his prime??

That's Fail#1. He was beaten once in his prime, against one of the best fighters of the era (Morales), and he twice avenged this by stoppage.

He struggled like crazy with Marquez in 2 questionable fights??

Who did Roy fight in his prime that was as good as prime Marquez? Manny went 1-0-1 with Marquez, Roy went 1-1 with Montell Griffin. Who was better, Marquez or Griffin?

The second Morales fight was even till Manny stopped him??

That's Fail#2. Manny was clearly ahead. I suggest you watch the fight. Again though, I have to bring up Montell Griffin. He and Jones were neck-and-neck at the time of the DQ, Griffin had clearly won a few rounds. Who was better, Morales or Griffin?

Roy almost never lost a round in his prime??

Montell Griffin, Montell Griffin, Montell Griffin. Are you aware of that fight at all?

Also, Pac's comp across his prime was tougher than Roy's:

Pac's biggest 10 fights- Marquez I+II, Barrera I+II, Morales I,II+III, De La Hoya, Hatton, Cotto

Did Roy have even close to 10 fights that tough across his prime? Nowhere near it, so of course he dropped less rounds.

Saying Hopkins was green is silly. Hopkins would go on to obliterate his next 15 opponents. How do you know he was green?

Resume is the main factor to consider when deciding p4p rankings, but it isn't the only one. Whitaker gets a lot of extra points from myself because he was pretty much the complete boxer, and is one of the most skilled to ever pull on the gloves alongside Robinson, Duran, Ray Leonard, and Willie Pep.

:lol::lol: You're a joke. Comparing Jones and Griffin d Mto PAc and Marquez? Are you seriously saying that Jones dropping Griffin and losing by DQ is the same as Marquez teaching Pac a boxing lesson twice? My god man you're delusional!
