Pacquiao 2nd KD of Cotto in the 4th round was the first legit KD of Cotto's entire career? I mean the first KD on 3rd round was more of a flash slip Torres KD of Cotto back in 140 was more of a push Margarito KD of Cotto was Cotto taking a knee Let me know if Cotto was ever legitimately down before with a punch
wasn't the torres match a legit knockdown? i can remember cotto being seriously hurt by that punch. but i think pac was able to make cotto clinch.
And by the way, I consider taking a knee a legit knockdown, especially more than being off balance. Taking a knee shows that you're hurt bad enough to where you need to get away from the punishment. Being knocked down because you're off balance doesn't mean you're hurt at all, just in the wrong position.
I mean knockdowns that u have no choice but u go down not because u have to but you have no control over like for example ( heartbeat involuntary movements,) except blinking since u can control that and blink manytimes or have your eyes blink automatically u get the idea When Pac hit Cotto with that uppercut on the 4th round that is an example of what im saying that u hit the canvas against your will
KD against Torres was definitely legit. Cotto was hurt bad. I forgot about that fight. That was a great fight.
He was Hurt but he wasn't knockdown look at the video 3:08 - 3:10 he was kinda push down, it was a legit knockdown to score a 10-8 no question about that but what i'm saying is a Knockdown that u get hit and u really go down like lift on your feet and u have no control over it ( ex: Tyson KD of spinks, Pac KD of Hatton) type of knockdown u guys know what i mean? Well, going by that standard, that didn't happen in last night's fight either. You're talking about epic KDs (I assumed you're talking about KDs not KOs) like when Casamayor was knocked out of the ring ropes in the Katsidis fight and climbed back into the ring.
That's why i said KD - Knockdown not KO-KnockOut atsch I'll try to explain it clearer, when Tyson first KD spinks with a bodyshot, Spinks went down right, when Pac right hook roll under Hatton in the first round, Hatton went down right? That is the kind of KD (not KO) im talking about that u have no control over it but you go down your body goes down to the canvas, not by taking a knee or being wobbled then push down
Yes I agree on Torres KD, though with a little push after, still it was the first legit KD suffered by Cotto.
I think they were the cleanest 1 punch knock downs, especially the second one, which he was knocked down and really hurt by the left counter hook/uppercut. If the round would of been longer, I don't think he would of survived.
