Hot off the presses from Dan Rafael of ESPN: http://sports.espn.go.com/sports/boxing/news/story?id=4660556 You knew Freddie wasn't going to stop talking smack now, especially after the beatdown of Cotto. Floyd got in the dissing game yesterday as well, and it seems like Roach didn't need much prodding to return fire. :hat
Freddy is back again. I love it. If Pac knocks out a guy who's the best defensive fighter of his era I would be shocked. That said it won't happen.
Mayweather is just as big a gym rat as Pac is. I don't see him wearing down. I also don't see Manny having better footwork. But roach is the expert not me.
Well, that is simply to either get Mayweather into a fight to prove a point, or look miserable by avoiding it and getting quiet to the **** talk or being seen as **** talker only. Actually, IF Mayweather keeps talking about Manny without fighting him, he IS a **** talker who avoids hard fights.
One one hand, Roach says Mayweather is the ultimate opponent. On the other hand, he says Mayweather is fragile, has no balls, won't last as long as Cotto, is slower than Pac, and doesn't have as good of footwork. Anyway, I can't wait for this fight. It looks like there won't be a catchweight either. You can't say a guy is fragile and has no balls and then demand a catchweight.
