 One ****ing guy says, "Pacquiao might outpoint Hagler, who wasn't the quickest of cats". I hope...I really do, that he was kidding...but I bet he wasn't.

Here it is. Marvel at this genius

people act like hatton = duran , and cotto = hearns! thats just ****ing stupid. duran is like JMM beating floyd mayweather when he beat SRL.. you guy's are plain ******ed, and duran is one of the hardest punchers in the history of boxing..he would've knocked cotto out.

    Exactly!!!

So many of the top fighters fans make you want to dislike the actual fighter. Sometimes it's difficut to stay balanced (Pac, Floyd, Calzaghe, Klits).

Don't hold your breath, probably was serious. He needs to watch Hagler-Briscoe if there's any doubts over a stylistic match up. Not that there should be, Hagler can fight any way and it's his, ridiculous statement.

the fact pac is being discussed on these boards surpassing these great welter is high praise to pac considering he is not even a real welter. one other thing pac has 4 lineal titles which means he hasn't been fighting just anyone moving up, but the best. look what he has achieved in the last year alone and tell me he doesn't belong in that company. 4 weight divisions 2 lineal belts 3 world titles and a cash king hof and destroyed most of them. if pac does not get in, then you biased posters will prob never put a fighter ever above these fighters. and i mean ever.

Hearns would have put Pacman to sleep at 147.

Duran beats the living crap out of Pacquiao at 135.

Pac ranks above Hagler and Hearns, but below Leonard and Duran.

The 80's were a golden era for boxing, people cannot appreciate the level that these guys fought at.

The same Duran that got his ass kicked by De Jesus? He's going to run over Pac? The one that got one punched by Hearns, that quit against SRL, that barely put up a fight in the rubbermatch? Do you really think Cotto would get handled like that by Hearns or quit like that against SRL?

    SO overrated!

I was there, and a boxing fan then just like I am today. Those guys aren't demigods, except for maybe SRL. No need to get all religious about them. Cotto would have been a credible opponent against them, and so would Clotty and sure as HELL Mosely would be. ODLH and Trinidad are threats against anyone at those weights, and so is Pea. JCC would give Duran a savage beatdown, and I'm not sure that JCC beats Pac. Hopkins would beat Hagler, RJJ would do it EASY.

By who? Benitez beat Duran and gave SRL everything he could ask for, and more. The same people who think Duran is the super toughest guy who ever lived are the ones who try to forget Benitez ever existed.

Except that Davey Moore was rushed to a title and has zero huge victories to his credit, and Cotto has already beaten a great fighter in Shane Mosley and a very, VERY good fighter in Clottey.

I kind of understand why *******s get so upset now, listening to this hate pouring in, and all the people looking for some reason - ANY reason - to downplay what Pac has accomplished and is continuing to accomplish in this sport.
