Great post! This is how I feel bout Manny. He's a special fighter but he's beatable. Which is why so many love to watch this kid fight. Even though he's beatable that doesn't stop him from engaging in WAR with guys larger than him. Sure it helps he has some awesome natural gifts like speed, explosivness and reflexes that offers him added advantages over most, but he still creates drama for the sake of entertaining the fans. Floyd offers natural size advantage, equal talent and athletic ability but a completely superior skill set that PAC combats with his completely superior warrior like mentality. Which makes this a very compelling and even match up. I like Floyd by a very close decision....in a fight where he finally gets some credit for battling it out with somenone his equal.

    :rofl:rofl:rofl

It's going to be a Pacfan world around here for the next few months...

Yeah charlie... run a poll and I bet half of ESB would say that it's fun and games for a dude 6'2 and a half to get down to below 150 pounds. The sport operates on weight, not height. I guess Mark Breland didn't deserve his gold either.

Zab is by far the biggest name behind Hatton. Lol. Bradly, Nate, Holt? Eh.....I don't know man. I don't thnk PAC is going back to defend his belt at this point.

I rooted for Pac on every fight he's ever been in including this one. But i'm guilty of doubting him on this fight. This fight should make me a true believer.

This. No one 147 and below will win a slugfest with Pac. He has the chin to take the big shots and the speed, power and angles to land that shot his opponent just won't see...

But yeah, he can definitely be outboxed.

I will never bet against Pac, he truly defies logic. Great fighter, I feel lucky for having the opportunity to watch him in his prime.

I really thought 145 was a step to far. I did not say those things about Pac finding out he's not a welterweight to be disrespectful. I thought it would be a lot like Arguello at 140; an all time great who tried to climb one to many divisions. Pac's performance was amazing.

I've been telling Divac the same thing! PAC defies logic! Up to NOW he doesn't believe it!

Nice to hear that you are now a PAC believer!

If you have been with us for a long time, you could have lots of EASY money by NOW:yep. Imagine 11 consecutive wins!

    Cheers!

Something similar can be said about Floyd. His last four opponents didn't really have much to challenge him. They were either too small, slow, old, or limited. Pac brings something to the table that Floyd hasn't seen before and would be a true test to measure how great Floyd really is.

I think the right word is consistent, meaning he does his thing over and over again, meaning battering and maiming his opponenets, or if you want, brutalizes his opponent.

No one is saying he is unbeatable.. Every fighter can be beaten.. Including Mayweather.. who so many on this Forum think Manny cannot do...
