Lol I did a thread on this exact same fight a few months ago and had the same result as you, Eubank winning it by a point. It was no robbery. I'll have to hunt around for my actual scorecard.

I think I had it a draw, I'll have to look for my scorecard though.

I thought Watson was robbed. I thought lots of fighters were robbed against Eubank.

Watson was completely out-classed that night. Eubank put in one of the most skillful performances ever produced by a British boxer and won by around 7 rounds. It wasn't even close.

All Watson did was walk forward and get hit. He didn't deserve a re-match and only got one because of the public outcry.

That fight is another example of someone making such a noise that people think there was something worth shouting about. A close fight can't really be a robbery, whatever Malignaggi thinks.

I thought Eubank got a close fight. It was an entertaining fight hence the rematch and Watson was definitly winning the rematch widely.

Also in regard to some of Eubanks dodgier defences

I have heard that willie pep won a round without throwing a punch but tahts nothing Eubank does it regulary

Obviously this is the least of his worries from that night, but Watson would have been an absolute monster at Super-middle.
