So now wins over Buchanan, De Jesus, Palomino and Cuevas mean nothing?? Pac never dominated a division the way Duran did.

You'll not find one credible boxing expert that ranks Pac over Duran, that should tell you something.

For you to judge a LW simply on results against a top 2 ATG WW, the greatest LMW, and a top 3 ATG MW shows naivety on your part.

Palomino was old, and JMM, EM and MAB are miles and miles ahead of Buchanan etc. Then throw in Hatton, ODLH and Cotto on top of that. Unquestionably Pac has a greater resume.

I can also find you boxing experts right now comparing Pac favorably to Armstrong. The tide is shifting on Pac right now while he's still an active fighter, which is really saying something. Usually you have to be retired 15 years before they start talking about you in Armstrong terms.

Why are you doing it again? I left you alone instead of piling on the pressure and you're embarrassing yourself again.

Pacquiao's resume is immense right now. Barrera in his prime, Morales, which i rate, and i give him the rematch against Marquez. So i'm not saying they're not close. But 'Pacquiao's resume is far better than Duran's', is an appauling thing to say. He beat Sugar Ray Leonard, regarded by a shitload of knowledgeable boxing fans as the greatest win ever, given the circumstances. Ever seen much of Ken Buchanan? If you have then i must say you don't know a great fighter when he slaps you on the nose. Esteban DeJesus? These are great and good fighters that when you add them up make for not just a great, but a stacked resume. The contenders level guts he beat- Ernesto Marcel, a quality fighter, Duran was basically a kid, watch that kid in action. Carlos Palomino, a bigger world class welterweight, rough as sandpaper. Duran turned in one of his finest performances. The likes of Moore, Barkley, Castro, all when the man was past his best. Pipino Cuevas, ruined him.

I let the comment about the Leonard fight being questionable slide before, no more mis-behaving in my class room.

Except Pac fought ATG FW and LW fighters and WON. Duran fought ATG fighters and LOST, except for SRL 1.

Nobody the caliber of SRL, but JMM, EM and MAB are all on the same level or above Hearns and most especially Hagler.

I'm ignoring you because you make very weak statements as if they're absolute fact. No, Buchanan, DeJesus et al are NOT on the same level as the three Mexicans. Not even close. Palomino was shot. If you're going to include shot fighters then let's say ODLH was a MUCH better victory than Palomino.

There shouldn't be ANY question about this to a non-biased observer. Duran's resume doesn't approach Pac's.

And yes, I think SRL should have gotten the decision in that fight.

Hahahaha, Palomino was old, then you list Morales, Hatton and DLH.

If you can't even be balanced in your posts why bother posting??

And with wins over Ortiz and Laguna...you're really going to discredit Buchanan?? You're a joke!!

And got his ass kicked. I'm sure Iran Barkley would KTFO out Pac too, so what? Pac doesn't fight at MW, and he never will. Are you trying to say Duran was greater because he's bigger? Why the **** am I even talking to you? It would take two of you to equal one ******.

Idiot, I said from the beginning that SRL was a greater single victory than anyone on Pac's resume or anyone else's, for that matter. Why are you being such an idiot? One fight doesn't settle the issue though. Pac has MANY better victories outside of that, and if he beats PBF then he even has one that nearly rivals SRL.

It's not me that's losing out here, it's you. You have a once in a lifetime fighter right in front of you, RIGHT NOW, and you're so blinded by Pac-hate that you can't even enjoy it. Sad.

No you're not...Dont get me wrong...I was highly impressed with Manny's win over Cotto but people are getting carried away with this...I understand just won a hell of a fight, but its not like Cotto is an ATG and people are being foolish by saying Pacman is better than SRL, Hearns, and Duran...The fought in the boxing's "olden era".

Pac has some more to do before he can hop past them on the list!
