Don't start all this 106lbs rubbish. If you don't want to factor in his losses at lower weights, don't factor in his wins there either. Pac started at the top level as a SBW.

I think Pac has a better record than Hearns and Hagler but he still has some work to do to catch SRL and Duran.

Buchanan's not even close to the three Mexicans. Ortiz was 36 when they fought and retired right after, Laguna was two fights away from losing to Eddie freaking Linder and also a year away from retiring completely. Neither DeJesus or Buchanan compare to the Mexicans or to Cotto.

Ok. List all the ATG's Duran has fought and beaten, then I'll list Pac's.

That's Carlos Palomino if you didn't know Bernie. Not sure if you get photos on boxrec.

All i can say about you not rating a win over Ken Buchanan at lightweight is well, i actually don't have words for it. Watch him rather than read his name in print.

When did i say i rated his win over Ortiz? Laguna was champion when he beat him so that was a must. I really doubt you've seen these guys in their primes much.

Yeah Palomino was a good fighter. You can't say he was an ATG, and great might be stretching it as well. And he was past it when he fought Duran.

It was a good win, but it's not as good as a win over JMM, EM, MAB or Cotto. Is there something you don't understand about that?

I understand that you have to inflate Buchanan into something he's not in order to make Duran look better, but just pretending you don't understand that simple fact above is getting a little tiresome.

Nar, you don't understand that Buchanan was as good a fighter at lightweight as the Mexicans in their primes, p4p, certainly on the level. And definitely a better win than Miguel Cotto, who is a world class fighter.

Ok well there is the source of our disagreement then. I do NOT believe that Buchanan was anywhere near the ATG first ballot HOF three Mexicans, and you do. I also don't think he was as good as Cotto. If you think so, more power to you :yep
