Judah gave Mayweather trouble for 2 1/2 rounds, same as Cotto gave Manny trouble for 2 1/2 rounds. Then complete domination.

Manny better bring 5 times as much as Judah brought. Same with Mayweather to Cotto.

I like both these guys but Mayweather does have a point (only a small point admittedly) when he says he's never been KO'd, he's never been close to it. I could readily accept that Pac might, just might beat Mayweather on a decision but I doubt he'll knock Mayweather out, the guys defence is the best in the sport.

 

Have you seen the Hatton -Mayweather fight reALLY. The KO was more on the momentum of Hatton lunging forward and got taken by a short lhook.

 

i think he's right. he might not knock him out, but manny is truly something special. i think he's faster, stronger, tougher, and far more willing to fight and throw than floyd. i honestly couldn't believe his movement last night. absolutely incredible. even when i was anticipating his punches i could barely see them land on cotto they were so fast. unreal.

 

the KO was from the post, not the punch. it would have only been a knockdown had he not gone full force, head first into the post with all his weight behind him.

don't get me wrong, it was a beautiful punch that i was just waiting for mayweather to land flush as i watched ricky drop his right hand EVERY SINGLE ****ing time he lunged in with the left hook, but i don't think it was enough to KO him without that post.

 

Cotto said he couldn't see them coming. I think Manny will give Floyd a harder fight than he thinks he would.

no one would be able to see them coming. its not just the speed, its the angles they come from as well. floyd won't be able to either.

 

So you think Pac never hurt Hatton or Cotto due to their stupid machismo and 'diving in'? I suggest you re-watch the fights.

Of course it's OK to discredit something Mayweather did, and sacrilege to use the same argument against Pac around here at the moment, but it's the truth I'm afraid. I like both these guys but there's a lot of bull**** being spoken at the moment.

I just watched the Zab fight again! I think Manny can do it if they have a good game-plan and dont let Mayweather breath. They are gonna have to go after him every sec. of every round. If he goes to the ropes, there gonna have to make him pay, because once Floyd gets into his rythm hes on point.
