The part where he's talking about how he's in a no-win situation...

5-6 months ago, I would have agreed with his logic in that statement. But after this weekend's performance, NO WAY. I think everyone in the world knows, Floyd, you beat Manny, you'll get the props.

I do think he should have just said "yes I want Mayweather".

That's why I admire mayweather, he's so intelligent. He's a great fighter, but he's thinking about life after boxing. Dela Hoya was a great fighter and also intelligent. I like to see black and brown brothers who grew up in the inner cities, like east LA and Michigan, make good for themselves in the ring and outside of it.

I put that forward to the members, lets see if Pac or Cotto call for Mayweather.

I was doubtful that they would. However it doesn't mean that Pac won't fight him. I understand Pac just wanted to bask in his great victory against Cotto. Its not really necessary to ask a great fighter like Pac who does he want to fight next. We know he will fight PBF.

PBF without a doubt will be the most diffcult fight for Pac.

Mayweather does make some good points. If he didn't mix it up with pure crap now and then he would come accross well. They are trying to build someone up who can beat him. Mosely, Cotto, Pacquiao. The way he talks about the prospect of the fight sounds to me damn convincing that it is going to happen, he seems to be picturing the fight in his head the whole way through. Can't wait for it to happen. Two other good points he makes are "if I win will they give me any credit" good point, probably not, he'l just get asked to fight mosely, and "if I outpoint him they'l call it a boring fight" absolutely probably, which is a shame. Pacquiao has his style and mayweather has his own, both are totally opposite but equally beautiful in their own right.

Still, mayweather has brought on most of the angst that comes his way himself. But he can very well change that by fighting manny plus one or two other top welters. Personally I think shane shouldn't get the nod because I feel that anyone caught on the roids as he has been, in any sport, should get a life ban. Its blatant cheating, it ruins the sport, changes history fallsly and in boxing is just outright dangerous given your battering your opponents head. Personal view however.

I definatly understand that, Im pretty sure he would want that fight anyway, but floyd likes to make a point of it when people dont call him out when asked. Obviously I just really want this fight to happen :D

REALITY is FLOYD needs PACMAN more than PACMAN needs him! It's his only chance to make one last MEGA MONEY. Looks like PACMAN is richer now than FLOYD, so he's the one who should beg for a FIGHT with PAC. Didn't you see the logic in PAC's response when asked about FLOYD? "Ask ARUM!" His legacy has already been established even without A FIGHT with FLOYD. PAC loves playing chess, if you know what I mean! :hat

Pros in Manilla. Which equates to fighting a waitress in Iowa.
