Why does Kevin Kelley not have a job??

    Im watching the replay of Froch vs Dirrell right now and once I seen Tarver doin the commentary it made me think why ESPN, HBO, Showtime, Versus ect havent given Kelley a steady job? They guy is probably the most knowledgeable, non bias and fluent former boxers that ever commentated before. IMO he's better then Roy, Foreman and any other former boxers that ever tried it before. So why does no one sign him?

    Kelly has a good head on his shoulders. This segment impressed me.

    the only possible reason in my opinion is the fact that he's not a big name in non boxing circles

    I thought he took the job of "putting posters up and making sure it got no creases on it"?

    Exactly. People don't know who Kevin Kelley is. You need a well known guy there just so people want to see their opinion.

    Off the top of my head, the only one I can remember is Darchinyan-Pacheco. But he did fill in on ESPN2 regularly a few years back. Haven't heard him broadcast anywhere recently, though.
