No, but he'd be a fairly young 31. Many of the ATGs did a lot to further their claims after 30. I know Manny doesn't plan on fighting much longer, but the top few spots P4P wouldn't be out of the question if he fought as long as many of the others did.
i tend to agree with this. in rating pac's accomplishments, you cannot not consider him being placed inside the top 20 but majority of the boxing experts would probably lean towards placing pacman around the 15-25 range at this point.
If he can beat up Floyd at 147, Destroy Paul Williams at 154 and knock down Kelly Pavlik to get a UD win then he'll have a good case for top 10
Being the best doesn't mean consistantly moving up in weight, obviously Pac's body can handle anymore weight. There are two ATG's at 147 right now, he doesn't have to go anywhere else.
Its great what Manny did, but I would not say he was a natural 106 pound guy. I think he is peak now, which for me overrides his lower weight losses because he was not at his best then, I think he is a natural 135-140 pounder, and undefeated in his prime.
Can you name any fighter in your top 10 that went up that many divisions and dominated? Flyweight to middleweight? :think
This. And, anyone please, don't try to convince me your opinion weighs more than Bert Sugar's. Please, don't even try. This content is protected
Coe on guys, as much as he may not have attained the status of the Haglers, Leonards and the Durans of this world, whats can set hiom apart if he conquered Gayweather and Sugar Shane is that he has manouvered from the lower end up to the welterweight a thing that most of those in the Hall of Fame have not achieved. Man, it is easier to become to a champion in one cloass than it is to be in a number of weight classes
No. Not in my opinion. BUT, I wouldn't laugh at someone if that were their opinion. In other word's I don't agree but I don't find it laughable either. There's a case to be made if Pac does that but I don't think it's stronger than Robinson, Pep, Armstrong, etc.
