MAYWEATHER should call out PACQUIAO. Not the other way around. Your thoughts?

In a recent interview Mayweather was suggesting Manny is scared to fight
him, since he hasn't personally called him out.

Personally I think Floyd needs to do a reality check. The simple fact is that
he needs Pacquiao much much more than Pacquiao needs Mayweather.
Pacquiao is the fighter of the decade, the fighter of the year and the pound
for pound king, that again and again has taken on challenges that looked too
much to be overcome. Pacquiao has very little left to prove, he beats good
and great bigger men, while Mayweather keeps calling himself the greatest of
all time, but fights blown up little fighters for a living and avoids the big WW's.

Mayweather just wants to keep his narcistic view of the world intact and
needs everyone to believe that he is still the man. He's wrong. Pac is the
    man.

Mayweather should be grateful if he gets to fight Pac, or he will have very
little chance whatsoever of leaving anykind of meaningful legacy. Even if he
would still be fighting the smaller man, at least it would be a great in his
    prime.

Mayweather deserves less of a share than Pac does if they fight (even if Pac
will probably agree on 50-50 in the end). Pac is now a superdraw and has a
higher ATG standing than PBF by far.

If Mayweather wants a piece of Pacman, he should come knocking on pacs
door and ask him for the fight and call him out. Saying it's the other way
around just proves exactly how delusional Mayweather really is.

Of course, that's just the way I see it. What are your thoughts?

My thoughts are that neither need to call the other out. The demand from the public and HBO is too great, and there's too much money on the table. Even if both were deathly afraid of the other, they would still fight because of the public pressure and money available. Any talks of one needing to call out the other is pure mind games.

I agree everything on what you are saying. Since Pacquiao today is the P4P King, Mayweather should man up and call the King as a challenger not the other way around.

Honestly, Mayweather is making excuses for not fighting Pac. I don't understand why its not a WIN-WIN to him. Personally, Mayweather will gain respect if he bout with Pacquiao.

I agree with this, the fight needs to be made and will be made. However if someone wants to play mindgames, i think Pacquiao is in a much better position for negotiations than mayweather is. Mayweather just sounds silly saying these things. He knows he needs Pac.

1st off, Pac does not deserve a larger share of of the purse. Mayweather has clearly established that he is more of a draw and the numbers support him.

Now i will give you credit that you can make an argument that Mayweather should call out Pac. But you have to understand that 1) The fight will be made regardless becasue there is so much money 2) neither fighter wants to seem like they are desparate to fight to the other becasue they don't want to give up bargaining power for future negoitiations.

Whats funny, and hyprocritical to me though, is that people are saying that mayweather should call out Pac, but a couple of years ago when everyone wanted to see PBF-Cotto, no one blamed Cotto for not calling out Mayweather. Mayweather was the King, the #1 p4p, a much bigger star, and yet somehow he was to supposed to call out the fighter of lesser statute. Miguel Cotto was the young challenger and he should have been doing the calling out.

And Pac needs Mayweather. There is not another $30 mill payday laying around for him. And think about this, when is the last time someone inherited the coveted p4p title by beating the p4p kng? Hopkins got it after Roy fell off, Mayweather got it after Nard fell off. Manny got it after Mayweather retired. Manny now has the chance to knock off Mayweather and erase any doubts about who is the best fighter in the sport. The same goes for Mayweather. This a unique fight that comes along once in a generation. These guys have a chance to be part of something special. They need eachother.

I have to disagree on drawing power. Pacs drawing power grows
exponentially atm imho. But i respect your opinion and can see arguments in
    favor of it

I didnt mean that Mayweather needs to call Pac out, what i mean is more
that IF anyone should be calling anyone out, it is Money calling out Pacman.
