Lets not throw any hate around here.

Floyd beat him first, not just beat him, he dominated him from 6 onwards and fought a perfect game plan. However it was at 147.

Pac was too good in his fight, he knocked him out just as Hatton was gettin on top. But what a great display of speed and power. However he'd already been beaten and his weight issues have affected his punch resistance.

    Floyd.

Hatton was at his absolute peak mentally and physically and was simply taken apart.

Pacquiao did a great job on Hatton, but Ricky looked **** on the scales, had been ****ed mentally since the Floyd loss and had had a poor training camp.

Pacquiao beat him at his prime weight, the weight he stopped Tszyu at.

Floyd beat him at a weight he was not comfortable at, the weight that he had almost been KO'd by Collazo at.

Add to that the fact that Pacquiao did a far, FAR better job on him, and you have your answer.

Both Pac & Mayweather deserve the same amount of credit.
Last time I checked they both defeated Hatton.

Tho I won't lie I defo liked Pac's approach much more.
2 different styles used to take Ricky out, Can't hate on that.

    Pac.

He beat Hatton in his prime weight and did it in brutal fashion.

pac bombed em out so that was a great win. Floyd dominated and dismantled the guy. Broke him down and took everything away from the dude. Hatton looked like utter **** against Pac. Floyd simply looked amazing. I guess it depends on your approach as to whos win deserves the most props

Hard to say since such different fight styles. Same end point though for both.

Both floyd and pac did great damage to hatton. The 147lbs was not the reason Hatton looked so poor v PBF.

Pac simply because of the fashion in which he won. Complete and utter domination. FLoyd struggled a little early on and lost a round or 2 in the process.

I don't buy the whole "ricky wasn't his best" argument. He was in phenomenal shape against Manny, he was just stupid enough to think that he would simply be able to walk through Manny

Ya, think weight difference argument is a non-factor in this fight. Hatton didn't get laid out by Floyd because he was at 147 instead of 140. Floyd could have been 140 and done the exact same thing.

Hatton did the weight properly for the Floyd fight, he didn't for Collazo - just look at his appearance in the ring for both fights.

Against Collazo he took the fight at seven weeks notice when Lazcano pulled out with a bad hand, he was already at 152. Therefore (according to his conditioning coach) he went back on the beer for a bit and had the odd takeaway. Then he had a full English breakfast on the morning of the fight - as was tradition - and got in the ring at 160.

For the Mayweather fight he weighed in at 145, and looked in tip top shape..... and got in the ring around 154, which was ideal.

Against Pac it might have been at 140, but without his old conditioning coach he looked **** on the scales, struggling to shift the last few lbs.

Not taking anything away from Pac of course, he would have whupped him anyway.

Just cause Floyd maybe lost a couple of rounds or they were close, doesnt mean the guy isnt allowed to feel things out and adjust. Floyd cut down the tree with an ax, Pacman did it with a chainsaw. In the end, the tree was on the ground and you cant compare really because of the 2 very different ways it was cut down. (Hatton more like a sapling then a tree)
