"Boxing for him is like a business," Pacquiao said. "He doesn't care about the people around him watching. He doesn't care if the fight is boring, as long as the fight is finished and he gets [plenty of] money. ... I want people to be happy. You have a big responsibility as a boxer." Floyd has great ability and we all know that... Hes just very arrogant and cocky. He constantly needs to hype himself up along with most of the boxing public (since his fights not very entertaining). If its all about money and if Floyd is real a business man (and being that boxing is part of the entertainment business) you think Floyd would be more entertaining but since his fights are not very entertaining he has to entertain out of the ring first to get most people excited about his fights.:deal Opinions? Thoughts?:bbb
Here's an opinion, if Pac is truly interested in just making people happy then there should be no dispute about the purse. Floyd has already admitted that money is most important to him. Pac should let Floyd have the bigger purse, and be happy making $20-$25 mill instead of $30-35 mill. Why risk letting the fight fall through and dissapointing fans over a few mill if you're mostly interested in making the fans happy?
True! He does hype a lot to cover up his boring style but I do believe Mays boring style will beat pac
Bull****. Manny is all about Money too. Manny was going to refuse to fight Ricky Hatton because he wanted a larger slice of the purse even though he was laready getting the lion's share. Ricky Hatton and his lawyer were threatening legal action for reneging on a verbal contract when Manny finally came around.
Since we havent seen (or had to see) very much of Mannys D recently, we cant gauge if its gotten better. If not, he losses by clear UD. If his D is much improved I think he can win a close UD.
Was it Manny or Arum trying to get more. I feel its all Arums doing. The fact that Pac beat Cotto and May hasnt, hell could use that for a bigger share. I believe Pac would be more willing to give up some of his purse than Floyd would.
Arum had a 50/50 deal in place. Pac demanded a bigger share and Arum paid him more money out of his own pocket.
There is no way in hell Pacquiao would say yes too that! I mean Pac-Cotto just beat May-JMM pay-per-views. It's clear who is the bigger draw of the two.
Of course he won't, which is why people shouldn't listen to his bull**** about him being all about the fans. He's about money just like almost every fighter.
May-DLH beat Pac-DLH May-Hatton beat Pac-Hatton May-Marquez-Beat Pac-Marquez May-DLH is the richest fight in boxing history. Ur absolutely right. Its clear who the bigger draw is. Its Floyd!
