Weaknesses and disadvantages? I'm interested in what people think...I mean it's like his defense is flawless, but he's not perfect...

Doesn't come forward much. Doesn't throw many punches. Isn't really known as a great warrior or brawler. Lack of one punch power

You cant really find a flaw in someone who doesnt fight.

His defence is flawless and what he throws he lands with pin point accuracy, wearing down his opponent so that he can eventually knock him out.

I can't think of any flaws.

Often retreats in straight lines, has a habit of being inactive, circles into the power hand of lefties (until someone gains his respect ie Judah).

He has not boxed the most talented out there of his era. So hard to measure just how good he really is when not fighting all the top talent. I think that is a disadvantage when you may be going toe to toe against the P4P number one guy out there who has fought many legends and won.

i guess we haven't seen floyd in any tough fights at 140-147 to really pinpoint a weakness... and who's to say the fight against manny doesn't turn out to be an easy night too? he's just that talented... my guess would be that any questions would be in regards to his chin and what happens when he gets into a tough fight (the judah one had the makings of a tough fight early on)

Yea, Floyd's only glaring weakness is inactivity.

Output - Sometimes a fighter will force you into a fight, you need to be able to give some.

Lack of power - Its respectable but some tough fighters can walk through it. This is why Castillo was able to bully him, Hatton for 10 rounds was on his face, DLH did well when he got inside.

Brittle hands - Thats why he has to use winning gloves, obviously negating more of his power. Its also possible he will injure it more.

Its often said that a brawler who can be outboxed is 1 dimensional. How about a boxer who can be outbrawled? Ive yet to see Floyd in a brawl...and there comes a time when even the best boxers has to be forced into a brawl.
